Most professional artists know the pitfalls, so to speak, of performing on stage, but 16-year-old Symone Black, an "American Idol" Season 11 hopeful, unfortunately had her first taste of public stumbling when she apparently fainted and fell off the stage during the FOX show's Hollywood auditions Wednesday.
The credits rolled as a medic was called for and the rest of the audience looked appropriately stunned. Word has it Black was treated for dehydration and is doing fine, and will continue on the show this week.
Check out five other dramatic tumbles from some top performers -- including Beyoncé, Pink - and even "Idol" judge Steven Tyler -- after the jump!
In an "American Idol" exclusive, Madonna will world preview the video for her new single, "Give Me All Your Luvin," featuring Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., during the show on Thursday, February 2 on FOX.

"American Idol" judge Jennifer Lopez got down to business, telling "Extra's" AJ Calloway about the new season, and revealing that the show will focus mainly on the exceptional singers, rather than the oh-so-bad-but-so-entertaining bunch.
Jennifer explained, "There's a lot of great talent. It's going to be more of a surprise for us than it was last year. This year there's so many talented, big voices. We actually got rid of some really big and great voices during the process because they didn't have great consistency."
Jennifer Lopez was given a trip down memory lane on Sunday night's "American Idol" when Jim Carrey's daughter, Jane, auditioned for the show. Once Lopez realized who was standing in front of her, she said, "I used to work with Jim. Oh my God! I remember you when you were little!"

Jane was two-years-old when Lopez and Carrey worked on '90's comedy series, "In Living Color." Carrey rose to fame with his wacky skits, while Lopez was part of the "Fly Girls" who danced on the show.
"American Idol" launches its Season 11 in Las Vegas Wednesday on FOX - and "Extra" is looking forward to these five things!
The talented James Durbin met with "Extra's" music correspondent Adam Weissler to discuss life after "Idol."
Durbin quickly landed a recording contract when his time on "Idol" ended. He formed a band and completed recording an entire album, "Memories of a Beautiful Disaster," which is out now and already making an impact on the iTunes charts. "It's so great. Words can't explain how great of a feeling it is being able to go to iTunes, and just look and see my album is right there. Number four on the rock charts!"

The new season of "American Idol" premieres Sunday, January 22 on FOX!
She'll be back! After months of negotiation, Jennifer Lopez has inked a $20-million contract with "American Idol." FOX announced Wednesday that the superstar will return to the judges' table in January for the show's 11th season.

Although producers were pushing for a multi-year contract (like the one Steven Tyler has), Lopez agreed only to a one-year deal and will reportedly receive a giant $8-million raise... almost doubling her paycheck from last season's hefty $12-million.
