Our culture showed at the selection of Cook as the Idol. It appears that whomever looks the scroungiest, screams and yells the loudest, is what the public is looking for. And he won by twelve milliom votes; NO WAY, something just isn’t right; visa vi the selection.

Sour grapes anyone! I, too, was shocked by the outcome. But thank goodness, I was pleasantly surprised. The show is more of a popularity contest than talent show. But thankfully, the best overall performer won this year. David A. has a long way to go before he reaches the performance capability to be a great performer. Singing whiny, sappy songs well does not make for a great performance. He is a great singer, but a lackluster and boring performer.
