Chart-topping soul singer Adele, 23, will make her first public appearance on stage since her vocal cord surgery in November. The British pop star will perform at Sunday's Grammy Awards. She is nominated in six categories, including Album of the Year for "21."

Adele covers the latest issue of People, in which she gives readers a glimpse into her private life, and explains the heartbreak that inspired many of her emotional songs, including a broken home and nearly losing her voice.
"America's Got Talent" host Nick Cannon released a video blog on his first day back at work after being hospitalized with mild kidney failure, exclaiming, "I'm back and I'm not dead!"
Cannon explained his recent medical issues were due to "overworking" his body.

Heather Locklear's sister dialed 911 on Jan. 12 when the actress experienced severe stomach pain, according to the 911 tape, which is heavily redacted due to patient confidentiality.

According to TMZ, Locklear was also in severe distress when paramedics arrived. They determined her condition was serious enough to be transported to a hospital, where she was placed in the Intensive Care Unit. The "Melrose Place" star had reportedly taken prescription drugs with alcohol -- a potentially lethal combination.
Actor Gene Hackman was hit by a car on Friday afternoon while riding his bike in the Florida Keys, according to TMZ. His rep says a "woman bumped him from behind, in her vehicle."

The 81-year-old Oscar winner sustained injuries to his head and body and was airlifted to a trauma hospital in Florida.
"America's Got Talent" host Nick Cannon was released from L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center over the weekend, after being successfully treated for mild kidney failure.

Cannon's rep released this statement: "Nick Cannon was released over the weekend to be with his family. He is resting and recovering at home and would like to thank everyone who has expressed concern, well wishes and prayers. He plans to return to his live morning radio show broadcast 'Rollin' with Nick Cannon' on 92.3 NOW FM on January 17th, 6-10am EST."
Still in his Aspen hospital bed for mild kidney failure, Nick Cannon is improving. Wife Mariah Carey remains at his side, and tweeted Friday, "Nick is in stable condition with a good prognosis, hopefully he'll be discharged in 2 days. As always, he's laughing and in good spirits."

The songstress added a photo of them in bed, with a laptop resting on Cannon's lap while Carey kissed him on the cheek.

"Extra's" AJ Calloway caught up with E! News host Giuliana Rancic and husband Bill in NYC to talk to her about her amazing recovery from a double mastectomy.

"Honestly, work has been the best distraction for me," said Giuliana, who returned to E! this week, just two weeks after the surgery.
