Free 'Candy' from Madonna
For Madonna fans in New York City yesterday, the wait was finally over. After four days of waiting in lines, hardcore fans scored wristbands granting free admission to the Material Mom's Manhattan show.
The concert, which came days after the release of her "Hard Candy" album, was said to be a "thank you" for Madge's loyal fans.
"I think it's a great way for real fans to get in and that's what Madonna wants," said her publicist Liz Rosenberg to the New York Post, "We who all work on Madonna's behalf have made a very concerted effort to make sure that as many tickets as possible get into the hands of real fans."
Only the most devoted fans would do what it took to obtain the coveted free wristbands -- the line began forming this weekend as hopefuls chugged coffee and camped out in hopes of seeing the pop legend's concert.

Hillary Clinton is giving her supporters a chance to meet her and Elton John! The Senator is sending two lucky supporters and their guests to New York with VIP tickets for Sir Elton's one-night-only concert on April 9. The winners will have a chance to talk one-on-one with Hillary and Elton. "In the interest of harmony -- and melody -- I promise you there won't be any duets," she joked.

After a dubious rap career, a wildly unsuccessful marriage and an unremarkable acting stint on “One Tree Hill,” former backup dancer Kevin Federline may be ready for the Great White Way! Us Weekly is reporting that K-Fed may take his broken musical dreams to the Big Apple this September to appear in “Legally Blonde.” Lord knows he’s had enough experience with dizzy blondes.
Justin Timberlake made a spicy speech while introducing Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Madonna in the Big Apple last night, confessing that she once asked him to "drop his pants" to give him a vitamin shot while working on Madge’s “Hard Candy” album, which drops next month. The experience was the "greatest day of his life," Justin told the crowd.
Justin Timberlake is no stranger to controversy -- Superbowl halftime show, anyone? -- but now the smooth-jiving Grammy winner is being featured in a Gnarls Barkley music video that’s too controversial to make cable TV.
