0509simpson.jpg

Jessica Simpson is planning another trip down the aisle -- but don't expect another round of "Newlyweds" from the blonde starlet, because this time she's the maid of honor! Jess has revealed that she will serve as little sister Ashlee's right hand woman in Ash's upcoming nuptials with fiancé Pete Wentz.

When asked if she would stand by her sister on the big day, Jessica revealed to People, "Of course!"

That detail is one of few that have been disclosed about the Simpson/Wentz wedding -- the pair has been hush-hush on their plans for "I do" -- even refusing to confirm Ashlee's rumored pregnancy.

Jessica recently performed for nearly 35,000 Marines at Camp Pendleton.

A 'View' Reunion?

0507walters.jpg

She became a TV legend by asking tough questions of everyone from the Dalai Lama to presidents, from world leaders to Hollywood stars -- now Barbara Walters is being grilled in the "Extra" hot seat!

Only in this "Extra" exclusive, Barbara is breaking news about a possible Rosie/Star reunion -- admitting that she'd happily have either ex-hostess back on "The View." "I don't know what the situation might be, but I could see having Star and Rosie on," says Walters, "not together perhaps." The queen of the interview opened up to "Extra" about everything -- including her affair with a married senator! "No, he's not the guy who got away," says Barbara.

Ms. Walters is promoting her hot new tell-all, "Audition" -- a dishy memoir so revealing that she now regrets writing it! "It may be too revealing, too personal," says the 78-year-old hostess, "When I read it I think, 'Why did I say that?' but I did and it's out and it's done."

Catch Barbara spilling more to "Extra" -- including Botox confessions -- today!

Best 'City' Friends Forever

It's the ultimate on-screen sisterhood -- four best friends sharing their deepest secrets about life and love. Now, "Extra" is learning that the bond of friendship between the "Sex and the City" ladies is even tighter than we'd known!

0507city.jpg

In the final season of the TV show, Samantha (Kim Cattrall) delivered devastating news of her cancer -- and now, in a strange coincidence, Cynthia Nixon reveals details about the night a year and a half ago when she told best friend Kristin Davis of her breast cancer.

Davis recalls, "She sits me down in Cynthia fashion and says, 'I have something to tell you. I have breast cancer.'" After a lumpectomy and radiation treatment, Cynthia is now celebrating one year cancer-free -- but says she'll never forget the way her friend reacted. "She stood up on her chair and I couldn't get her to come down until I told her everything I was doing and assured her everything was going to be okay," says Nixon.

The two friends celebrate their sisterhood on the big screen when "Sex and the City" opens May 30th.

Oprah on Cruise Control

Tom Cruise has opened up his Telluride estate for a grand tour -- and a somewhat candid one-on-one with Oprah for the first time since his infamous couch-jumping incident aired nearly three years ago.

0428oprahcruise.jpg

His love for now-wife Katie Holmes has been touted as Cruise's reason for the furniture antics. Since the beginning of their relationship, the two have endured rumors that their marriage is a publicity stunt. "That's laughable to me," says Cruise. The rumors suggesting that daughter Suri isn't his, however, are no laughing matter. "It's one thing [to] come after me, say stuff about me," says Tom, "but when it comes to my family, my children -- this is off the chart." Keep Reading...

Chesney's Foot Feat

"Extra" is speaking exclusively with country crooner Kenny Chesney as he discusses his painful onstage mishap in South Carolina last week during a performance on his "Poets and Pirates" tour. As to the cause of the accident, Kenny says, "I had my foot over the side of the elevator. As it was coming up, the elevator sort of went flush with my foot in the middle and no one could do anything." He adds, "It took them awhile to get to me. It's a pretty vulnerable position to be in."

Chesney spent 30 excruciating seconds down on the stage, struggling with the pain in his foot, and admits that time felt like an eternity. Although he states, "I was literally in shock for two or three songs," the singer did not let the injury prevent him from finishing his show. "I knew those people [in the audience] had been out there all day," says Chesney, "pure adrenaline is what got me through the show."

Doctors have given Kenny the green light to continue his tour, which you can catch -- bruised foot and all -- through September!

It seems Carrie Underwood put more than just her voice into her hit single "Before He Cheats" -- she has the experience to back it up! The "Idol" champ opens up to InStyle magazine about her experience with unfaithful partners -- but the star, who has dated Chace Crawford and Tony Romo, doesn't give up any names.

"I've been cheated on a time or two. It's tough," she says in the May issue of the mag, which hits newsstands Friday. "I wouldn't recommend doing any property damage, though," she adds, referencing the car attack -- slashing tires, smashing headlights -- which she croons about in her Grammy-winning song. "I'm a 'let it go, move on' kind of person," she adds.

Paltrow's Post-Partum Battle

0416paltrow.jpg

Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow is talking about her battle with post-partum depression, which she endured after the birth of her second child, Moses, in 2006. "I didn't know I had it until after it was over," Paltrow told Us Weekly. "I just didn't know what was wrong with me."

Paltrow reveals the problem in the May issue of Vogue, and suspects the depression stemmed from not undergoing pre-baby acupuncture treatments, like the ones she received while pregnant with her first child, 4-year-old daughter Apple. After giving birth to Moses, Paltrow admits, "I felt really disconnected. I felt really down. Since the birth of her son, the actress stepped back from the Hollywood limelight to focus on her growing family. She returns in May's "Iron Man," and has finally found a balance between working and being a mom.

"She set out to be a wonderful actress," mother Blythe Danner told Us Weekly, "but motherhood is very important to her... and I think she's finding a balance."

Cynthia Nixon: A Survivor's Story

0415nixon.jpg

It's the intensely personal secret Cynthia Nixon kept hidden until now -- a 2006 phone call from her doctor that confirmed an eerie premonition that she would be diagnosed with the same disease her mother had beaten 30 years earlier. "I always sort of thought, I'm going to get breast cancer," said Nixon. Doctors told her, "It's very small and we're just going to get in there and take it right out," she added, "I felt scared."

On the eve of "Miranda's" much-anticipated big screen return, the "Sex and the City" star opened up to Cynthia McFadden on "Good Morning America" about her survival story.

As the new Ambassador for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation, Nixon hopes many more women will hear her message. Cynthia cautioned, "The only thing to really be afraid of is if you don't get your mammograms because you don't want to know."
