Halle Berry
Hailed as the "sexiest woman in the world" by FHM readers, Halle Berry is an undisputed knockout in a boxing-themed photo spread.
Suddenly separated from musician Eric Benet, Berry is more of a lover than a fighter, but admits she was "pretty scrappy" growing up. Berry's pugilistic poses will leave thousands of FHM readers punch drunk.
Meanwhile, Us Magazine has new details about the Berry/Benet split, and how Berry, who has a history of bad and abusive relationships, got the courage to leave.
Senior Editor Caroline Schaefer reports there was no last straw and no significant other involved, just a realization by Berry that despite marriage counseling and even prayers, the relationship wasn't working. Schaefer says, "I think she's really come into her own as a woman and she's in a great place, and she's feeling like, ‘You know what? I'm not going to put up with anything but the best.’"
Schaefer adds, "She doesn't have any ill will towards Benet the way she does for some of her ex-boyfriends and husbands."
Berry is currently shooting "Catwoman" in Vancouver and enjoying room service at a $1,700 per night hotel. Up next for the star is a gig hosting "Saturday Night Live" later this month. Britney Spears is the musical guest, but Berry said that she will not be kissing her.
