'Frida'
From her sensual love scenes to an erotic tango with Ashley Judd, now it's your turn to be seduced by red-hot Salma Hayek as she breathes life into the tormented life of painter Frida Kahlo. Hayek says, "I've known her since I was 14 and I’ve been fascinated by her this whole time."
Frida's tumultuous life included a crippling bus accident at age 18, but that didn't stop her from becoming a political, artistic, and sexual revolutionary who, with her husband, painter Diego Rivera, took the art world by storm.
The movie co-stars Antonio Banderas, Ashley Judd as one of Frida's forbidden flings, and her real life love, Ed Norton, as Nelson Rockefeller. Norton actually helped write the script, and Salma not only stars in "Frida," but produced the film as well.
But Salma told "Extra" that it took nearly a decade to convince Hollywood she was right for the role. She says, "I stalked them for like a long time, and finally someone got on the phone and said, ‘Listen, it's not going to happen.’ They said I was too young. I didn't know what to say to that so I said, ‘Well I guess it's not going to get done then until I’m old enough!"
The film is full of erotic scenes, not only between Salma and Ashley, but also between Salma and Alfred Molina, who plays her mentor and womanizing husband Diego. It looks like "Frida" could turn out to be Salma Hayek's finest work of art.
