Momoa Makes Hawaii Hot
He's the hot Hawaiian hunk burning up the beaches on FOX's "North Shore." Gorgeous Jason Momoa stopped by "Extra" looking very much the part of a sexy island boy in both form and fashion, as he was sporting a unique outfit called a Lava Lava. "It's basically a sarong," Jason told us "It's just what the Hawaiian men wear."
To match his Lava Lava, Jason sported pink flip-flops, but these had their drawbacks. "Yeah, yeah, I know. I'm a climber, a rock climber," Jason admitted. "I have terrible feet!"
Jason made his acting debut on "Baywatch Hawaii" and now on "North Shore," he plays Frankie the bartender -- a role that brought him right back to the Aloha state. So what happened in-between? "I just spent three to four years traveling around the world. Living every dream I wanted to do and being with my woman, Simmone Jade MacKinnon," Jason revealed. "We met on Baywatch. She was the Australian character."
But despite his island roles, fans of the six-foot-five former model might be surprised to know his roots aren't only Hawaiian. "I was born there. Spent my summers there," Jason confirmed. "But I was raised with my mother in Iowa."
Raised by a mother who was everything but Hawaiian, at that: "She's Irish, German, Native-American," Jason told us. "Fifty-seven, baby."
Finally, before we let Jason get away, we had to ask him about the knockout poster he sent us: specifically, does it feature any airbrushing -- or does he really look this amazingly good? "I'm not even close to that," Jason confessed. "I definitely don't look that good!"
Maybe not, but we bet your fans definitely think you look more than good enough.
