Hollywood's Favorite Workouts
Get ready to lift those buns and flatten those abs, because "Extra" hit the streets and gyms to bring you the workouts that have Hollywood sweating, so you can achieve the body you've always wanted.
Workout #1: Outdoor Training Camp
Burn calories just like the pro-football players do and you're guaranteed to get the tightest end you ever could want. Former NY Giant Ty Keck teaches an outdoor training camp, and he promises motivation and results.
"It's a high-intensity workout for weight loss, for cardiovascular endurance and just overall health," he tells us.
What's great about this workout is you can enjoy nature, burn
calories and have fun all at the same time.
Workout #2: The Bar Method
Ali Landry and Julia Ormond all love The Bar Method, which is a combination of yoga, Pilates and isometric exercises. Director Mimi Fleischman says it slims and lengthens the body: "We can really reshape the body and build incredible strength."
Dancer and choreographer, Chris Judd, says The Bar Method definitely gave him a workout: "You're going against your own body weight and you are holding at a constant level. So there's a big burn," he insists.
The workout also lifts your buns and gives you a long, lean dancer's body.
Workout #3: The Cardio Hoop
The Cardio Hoop is an energetic exercise that uses a "heavy hoop:" a hula-hoop with weights to burn fat and tone the body. Creator Wendy Iverson says one nonstop workout is like moving two tons of iron. "It's a total body workout," she insists. "You get cardio and strength training in one exercise."
The Cardio Hoop uses all of your muscles and burns more calories than step aerobics.
