McG

He's the movie man with the golden eye, the showbiz prodigy who turned bands like Barenaked Ladies, Smash Mouth, and Sugar Ray into superstars with his music video wizardry. Then he rode the wings of "Charlie's Angels" to his own fame. But first, director McG had to convince Sony Pictures he wasn't crazy.

He says, "I was really ready and I got fired up and started to act out the picture and in the middle I jumped up on the table and acted out a dance sequence that Cameron would be in. Everyone was looking at me like I was out of my mind."

That brand of high-octane energy was exactly what "Charlie's Angels" needed. That, and a special effect or two. McG says, "Girls flying off dams, helicopters, motorcycles. We're not here for a physics lessons. We're here to knock out the jams."

Of course, after all this time directing Hollywood’s sexiest women, McG said that in his next life, he's coming back as an actor. He says, "I always just wanted to be a good looking movie star hanging around without a shirt on."

At least his movie is the must see hit of the summer!
