'From Justin to Kelly'
From center stage of "American Idol" to Miami’s biggest beach party, America's love affair with idols Justin Guarini and Kelly Clarkson hits Hollywood next week in "From Justin to Kelly."
Justin says, "We had about two weeks to learn the script, the dancing, all the blocking."
"Extra" got a sneak peak behind the scenes of the romantic musical comedy about two students who fall in love over spring break. So did Kelly like seeing herself on screen? She says, "Oh it was not cool at all. I didn't like it. I was sinking down in my seat."
And while you can bet their on-screen love scenes might raise a few eyebrows, Justin and Kelly insist rumors of a real life romance are just idle chatter. Kelly says, "Well that's funny, like even if I did have a relationship, why would I say it on national television?"
One thing they did admit to was splurging a bit since their newfound fame, especially on their parents. Justin says, "I put my parents on salary and am kind of in the process of paying off their mortgage."
Kelly adds, "I bought my mom a house too."
Looks like home is still where the heart is for America’s newest matinee idols.
