'NSYNC Dad
Joey Fatone Sr. is the pop of one of the top pop stars in the land: Joey Fatone Jr. of ‘NSYNC. He is getting his groove on and making music with his own boy band, or should we say man band. Senior says, "I'm sort of a semi-retired pop singer who dances and gives it his best."
They're between the ages of 36 and 56, and actually call themselves the Not So Boy Band. It started out as a spoof and now they're going through the roof. The father-son connection helps, but the Not So Boy band says their link to ‘NSYNC isn't the only reason they're popping right now.
All ages of fans love them. A gag on a Florida radio station has turned into a dream life for Joe, Kevin, Alex and Ray, with their own CD, opening for ‘NYSNC, and even making People magazine.
But what does that mean for Joey Jr., having dad tagging along on the road? He says, "He doesn't get away with as much, that's all there is to it. I have to watch out for him."
