Extra! Extra!
She's taking her comedy coast to coast. Ellen DeGeneres is on a 24-city concert tour, and if you're lucky enough to be in New York City Wednesday, you can catch Ellen at New York's Avery Fisher Hall.
Ellen joked that she chose performing for an audience over therapy sessions on a couch. She says, “I thought, wait a minute. Why should if pay a stranger to listen to me talk, when I can get strangers to pay to listen to me talk?”
Ellen is also gearing up for a daytime talk show, which debuts in fall 2003. She says, “I'm going to talk to, hopefully, interesting people, and I’m sure I’ll talk to some boring people too. And when I talk to the boring people, I’ll make them more interesting.”
Pamela Anderson was vamping in Vegas on Friday. She was the celebrity auctioneer joining Cirque de Soliel and Miami Sound Machine at the Venetian Ballroom to raise money for Guatemalan children at the first annual Rose Education Foundation celebrity gala. The event raised $165,000.
Cosmopolitan is turning the tables on their hot young female photographers. They're being featured in the July issue with Molly Sims on the cover, and they're spilling the secrets to capturing models and celebs in those sultry looks. One female photographer got the cast of “American Pie” to pose in undies and jock socks by stripping down to skivvies herself. |
