In the Zeta-Jones Zone
Both on screen and in real-life, Catherine Zeta-Jones
has recently logged plenty of frequent flier miles. The beautiful
Welsh star is out promoting her new Steven Spielberg/Tom Hanks
film, "The Terminal," but we managed to catch up
with her for an exclusive and revealing one-on-one .
Catherine told us she jumped at the chance
to be a part of "The Terminal," based on the opportunity
to work with Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg.
"Before I even read the scripts, I said to Steven, 'So when do you want me to turn up?'" Zeta-Jones revealed.
In the movie, Zeta-Jones plays a not-so-together flight attendant
who falls for Hanks -- and it seems her character's clusminess
is something to which she can relate. "I'm a klutz in private,"
she admitted. "I have no expensive china in my house. It's
banned; I've usually got loads of bruises because I walk into
doors and things."
And as if she didn't have enough "air-time" lately,
right after wrapping "Terminal," the superstar jetted
off to Europe to shoot "Ocean's 12" with handsome
co-stars Brad Pitt and George Clooney. "I'm a lucky girl,"
confirmed Catherine.
"Ocean's 12" also stars Julia Roberts, who's pregnant
with twins -- and Catherine plans to give her lots of motherly
advice. "She's going to get well looked after by all of
us," Zeta-Jones insisted. "You get really spoiled
when you're pregnant on a movie set."
Catherine knows first hand what that's like -- she was pregnant with her first child with husband Michael Douglas while filming "Traffic." "I had people running around and my feet were rubbed, and I was getting my toes rubbed and people would rub my belly from time to time," Zeta-Jones admitted.
So what's next for the superstar after "Ocean's 12?" Another musical perhaps? "Sure, I would definitely like to do another one," she revealed.
