"I try every day to let him know how much I love him," Katie says of her husband of one year. "It gets better and better. It has made my life."

Calling her love with Tom, 43, "all-encompassing," Katie, who turns 29 next week, says falling for her superstar husband was easy.

"It happened quickly, but I was certain it was what I wanted," she says. "I never felt overwhelmed. I thought, Okay, good. Here we go."

The man involved in a plot to extort millions of dollars from Tom Cruise has been found dead.

David Hans Schmidt, often called the “Sultan of Sleaze” for his collection of scandalous celebrity memorabilia, committed suicide at his home in Arizona on Friday, according to police.

He was on house arrest and was facing up to two years in federal prison.

Schmidt admitted he was involved in a plot to extort money from Cruise in exchange for stolen photos of his wedding to Katie Holmes. In court papers obtained by “Extra” earlier this summer, it was revealed that Schmidt met with Cruise’s representatives and told them, “It would not look good for anyone if the photographs become public.”

He pleaded guilty in August to one count of transmitting threatening communications with the intent to extort.

Tom Cruise is finally responding to criticism over his controversial role as a German colonel in the movie “Valkyrie.”

Tom told a German magazine, “All I can say is, save your comments until you see the movie."

He’s pleading guilty to one count of transmitting threatening communications with the intent to extort. When sentenced, he will face up to two years in prison, one year of supervised release and a substantial monetary fine.

Us Weekly is reporting that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ 7,000-square-foot Beverly Hills home is back on the market – for $100,000 a month!
