Actor and new father Owen Wilson appeared on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Tuesday and revealed he received 24 stitches to his head after a recent surfing accident in Hawaii.

"I took on a wave that was probably too big for me. I went off the back and the board kinda caught air and the board came back and hit me in the forehead and I got 24 stitches," Wilson said.

After telling Leno about his brother's encounter with a shark, Owen admitted he was fearful of getting attacked as he paddled back to shore, bleeding. "I was thinking about the shark as I was paddling back in with a little blood dripping into the same cove where my brother was attacked recently!"

Following a very public split with beau Owen Wilson, actress Kate Hudson was spotted in Texas with cyclist Lance Armstrong.

The seven-time Tour de France winner and the Hollywood golden girl were spotted together in Austin on both Friday and Saturday nights, reports People magazine. Friday, the pair dined at Eddie V's, a high-end restaurant favored by Armstrong. The following evening, the two dined at Hula Hut with friends and Lance's three children -- where, says a Hula source, "they looked like they were having fun."

The two were spotted Thursday night as well, at the after-party following Kid Rock's concert at Madison Square Garden in NYC.

After three consecutive nights together, whispers of romance are beginning to emerge. Armstrong's rep had no comment, and Hudson's rep does not comment on clients' personal lives.

Just after rumors that they were ready-to-wed, Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson have reportedly called it quits -- again! The on-again/off-again pair, who rekindled their flame in Miami less than two months ago, have proven that you can't strike the same match twice.

"It was a pretty bad break-up," a Wilson source tells People magazine, "Owen said it was a tough one -- he doesn't want to dwell on it. He wants to put it behind him."

Since breaking up, both Kate, 29, and Owen, 39, have been letting loose. While Hudson visited the bar at Boston's Liberty Hotel, Wilson was spotted at NYC's Upstairs.

Kate Hudson will not be walking down the aisle again anytime soon -- despite rumors that the Hollywood golden girl is Owen Wilson's bride-to-be. "She is definitely not engaged," Hudson's rep tells Us Weekly.

A rep for Wilson, Hudson's on-again/off-again BF, also confirmed that the two won't be saying "I do." Nuptial rumors began circulating after Kate was seen with a sparkler on her left ring finger. The ring, however, turned out to be just a prop for her newest movie.

"She's shooting a movie called 'Bride Wars,' which explains the ring," says Hudson's rep. The couple rekindled the flame after several months of separation.

The Oscar nominee, who was raised with three brothers, managed to hang on to her femininity in her testosterone-charged household. "I was a tomboy," says Hudson, "I was the girl with the dress on that always came back in the house filthy with scrapes and bruises -- but I was always very girly."

The Hollywood sweetheart, daughter of Goldie Hawn and mother of 4-year-old son Ryder also reveals her best look -- which appears "at the end of the night, when everything is soaked in and I'm still up," she says. "I like the leftover makeup in the morning. You've got to wash your face but there's always the leftover eye makeup, I love that."

Owen Wilson spent the weekend with an unlikely pal: Richie Sambora.

A source told People that Owen, appearing a little disheveled and withdrawn, was at Nobu at the Shore Club on Friday night. He dined with a group of friends before meeting up with Sambora.

"Owen and Richie were just chilling together, talking at a table," said an observer.

On Saturday, Owen hung out with "Wedding Crashers" co-star Vince Vaughn.
