Longtime couple Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis no longer live together, and their relationship is just about over, according to a new report from People. Although it's not official, sources close to the pair claim "The Rum Diary" actor and Vanessa -- a singer, model and actress -- have called it quits after 14 years.

Depp and Paradis, who used to live in the picturesque French countryside, now reside mostly in Los Angeles, but are hardly ever in the same city. The good-looking duo has not been seen on the red carpet together in over a year.
Johnny Depp's rise to fame spans over 25 years in Hollywood, with over 40 films under his name.
From his role in "Edward Scissorhands" to five "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies as Captain Jack Sparrow, "Extra" remembers some of the best quotes from Mr. Depp.

Caught between a frenzy of flashbulbs and screaming fans, "The Rum Diary" star Johnny Depp said he was thrilled about the project. "You know, for me, this has been a very long, long road that I started with my friend, Hunter."
The actor spoke about fulfilling Thompson's desire for the film to be completed, and said, "Unfortunately, Hunter's not here tonight... well, he is here, but he's not physically here... and yeah, for me, it's closure."
Busy actor Johnny Depp opened up to "Extra's" Mario Lopez about his new film, "Rum Diary," the making of another "Pirates of the Caribbean," and his role in "The Lone Ranger."
Johnny, who has starred in four "Pirates" movies as Jack Sparrow, said, "I love playing the character. I would keep making them as long as the screenplays are good, and as long as people want to see them."
"Extra" chatted with Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz, Keith Richards and Kirstie Alley at the "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" premiere on Saturday at the Happiest Place on Earth -- Disneyland!
Depp told Terri Seymour he was happy to go on some rides with his children after the premiere. "Oh yes, absolutely," he confirmed. Johnny revealed he and good pal Steven Tyler are currently writing a song together. "We've been hanging out here and there. He's someone I've admired greatly for such a long time. The idea of writing songs with him is a dream come true."
Actor Johnny Depp talked with "Extra's" Jerry Penacoli about the upcoming "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" -- and how his kids idolize Robert Downey Jr. as "Iron Man" more than Depp's role as Jack Sparrow.
"Bob Downey, we've known one another for a million years," Depp explained. "He and his wife came over for dinner and my son just couldn't believe that he was sitting next to Iron Man, so I saw Captain Jack leave my son's eyes and Iron Man was the ticket."
"Extra" host Mario Lopez sat down with Johnny Depp to talk about his new animated movie "Rango" -- and about the possibility of him making a cameo appearance as his former TV alter ego, Tom Hanson, in the new "21 Jump Street" movie.
"I would do it in a second," Depp admitted. "I would be happy to do it. I'm sure there's some kind of fun to be had. Just waiting to be asked!"
In the meantime, Depp is playing a chameleon in the upcoming "Rango," and confessed that at one point, he thought he knew how to train lizards. "Well, that's the thing. I don't know, but I thought I knew, as a child."
Actor Johnny Depp opened up to "Extra" on why he hasn't married his girlfriend of 12 years, Vanessa Paradis, and what the couple and their two children have planned for the holidays.
"I never found myself needing that piece of paper," Depp said as to why he and Paradis haven't tied the knot. "Marriage is really from soul to soul, heart to heart. You don't need somebody to say, okay you're married... If Vanessa wanted to get hitched, why not... But the thing is, I'd be so scared of ruining her last name. She's got such a good last name."
