"We just wrapped POB and I am emotional... inspired... renewed... accepted...and beautiful!!!! I can't wait for everyone to share this journey :)" Simpson, 29, wrote on Twitter Friday after wrapping taping for her new VH1 reality series, "The Price of Beauty."

The series hit a personal note with Simpson, who came under fire earlier this year when an unflattering photo from a chili cook-off sparked a barrage of headlines about Simpson's weight.
Last month, Simpson was mocked for her size in a FOX NFL Sunday cartoon, prompting the singer to write on her Twitter, "I will never understand why people attack for a laugh. Own your beauty and don't listen to the judgment."

"Did I trip a little bit? I don't even remember," she laughed while discussing her "Louboutin" performance with Ryan Seacrest Monday morning.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie donated big bucks to charity in 2008.
According to a 2008 tax return for their Jolie-Pitt foundation (obtained by The Hollywood Reporter), the couple gave $6.4 million away -- more than double what they gave in 2007 (but less than 2006's $8 million).

The biggest recipients were Global Health with $2 million, the Human Right Watch with $1 million and Pitt's Make it Right Foundation with $1 million.
They also gave $500,000 to the Armed Services YMCA of the U.S. Army, $50,000 to Springfield, Missouri public schools (Pitt's hometown) and approximately $1 million to Cambodia, the country in which they adopted their first child, Maddox.
The couple donated $6 million of their personal fortune to the Jolie-Pitt foundation. Their lawyer added $10,000 of his own money as well.]]>
Happy Birthday, Miley Cyrus!
The Disney star -- who turns 17 Monday -- celebrated her birthday with an '80s-themed soiree at NYC's Canal Room last week, People.com reports.
"The whole thing was a surprise," a source tells the mag of the Disney star, who was serenaded by the cast of Broadway's Rock of Ages, and chowed down on cake made by Cake Boss star Buddy Valastro.

"They didn't want a girly girl cake," says Valastro, who decorated the vanilla-flavored dessert with Madonna-inspired lace, a stage and accents in Cyrus' favorite hue, purple. "It totally fit the theme. It was really awesome."
Helping her celebrate? Friends, family, and new beau Liam Hemsworth, her co-star in the Nicholas Sparks film, "The Last Song."
This isn't the first '80s bash Cyrus has thrown. She also turned 15 with a similarly-themed party in her hometown of Nashville.

The 2009 American Music Awards is celebrating music industry's hottest talent -- but two musical superstars were noticeably absent from the ceremony.
Taylor Swift, up for six awards tonight, is currently across the pond in London, where she's performing a concert on Monday, November 23. When Swift, 19, was announced the winner of the Favorite Pop/Rock Female award, the "Fearless" singer called in to thank her fans for the award -- despite the fact that it was 2 AM in Britain! "I will never be able to say how much I love you," Swift told her fans.
Taylor was also awarded statuettes for Favorite Adult-Contemporary Artist, Favorite Country Female, and Artist of the Year.

Production has been temporarily suspended on Courteney Cox's "Cougar Town" so that the actress can deal with a personal issue involving her family.

ABC tells Us Weekly in a statement, "We can confirm production on Cougar Town has been temporarily shut down in order for Courteney to deal with a private family matter."
There has been no word on whether or not the matter relates to Cox's husband David Arquette or their 5-year-old daughter, Coco.
Cox, 45, stars in the ABC comedy series, which airs on Wednesday nights.

"The Twilight Saga: New Moon" continues to make box office history.
The film, starring Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, grossed $72.7 million on Friday, according to estimates from Summit Entertainment.

The vampire flick crushed the previous opening-day record of $62.2 million, held by "The Dark Knight."
"New Moon" also made history by earning $26.3 million from midnight screenings alone.
