Terri Seymour

Terri Seymour serves as a correspondent for the nationally syndicated television show, "Extra." She joined the program in 2004 as a freelance reporter covering American Idol and was then promoted to a full-time correspondent position. As "Extra" launches its 16th season, along with American Idol exclusives – interviews, backstage access and candid one-on-ones - Seymour will continue to cover fashion and beauty segments along with movie premieres, junkets, on-set visits and act as regular red carpet favorite.

Before Seymour joined "Extra," she was a successful model and television personality in the United Kingdom. She grew up in Buckinghamshire, England, where she began modeling at age 12. As a model, Seymour traveled to fashion capitols Paris, Milan and New York. She was featured in countless fashion magazines including Elle, Marie Claire, Vogue [English], and GQ [English]. In addition to magazine spreads, Seymour was part of one of Benetton's highly-successful and influential advertising campaigns and appeared in numerous runway shows for designers including Vivienne Westwood, Donna Karan and Armani.

In the beginning of Seymour's television career, she appeared on the UK television series, "The Clothes Show," and then appeared on the English version of "The Wheel of Fortune" for three seasons. She has also appeared on the UK's "GMTV" and acted as a correspondent on the daytime show, "This Morning." One of her first American television appearances was as an entertainment reporter on Fox 11's "Good Day LA" on which she continues to appear regularly. Seymour also continues to serve as a live reporter on Fox 11's 10pm Newscast.

As an "Extra" correspondent, Seymour serves as a regular entertainment commentator on programs such as "The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet," CNN, Fox News and the TV Guide Channel. She has also appeared in films including "Material Girl" with Hilary Duff, "24 Hour Party People," "The Leading Man" with Jon Bon Jovi and HBO's "In The Beginning". Seymour served as a judge on "The Tyra Banks Show" Male Model Search and has been featured on E! News' special programs profiling celebrities. Most recently, Seymour has been featured in recent issues of OK! and Hello Magazine as well as Parade.

Seymour currently lives in Los Angeles.
