The Deets on Chelsea Clinton's Wedding!

Former First Daughter Chelsea Clinton is headed down the aisle on Saturday, July 31 with Wall Street hedge fund beau Marc Mezvinsky -- and "Extra" has uncovered some of the top secret wedding plans.

First, the two will be married in a secluded French-style chateau in Rhinebeck, New York, just forty-five minutes from Bill and Hillary Clinton's NY mansion.

The bride will wear an Oscar de la Renta gown. Daily Beast's Lynnley Browning told "Extra" the menu will include ahi tuna encrusted with horseradish and miso, reportedly prepared by restaurant owner Josh Kerner, who tells us the dish "is one of the favorites I've done through the years."

As for the guest list, it includes Clinton pals Barbra Streisand, Warren Beatty, Steven Spielberg, Ted Danson and Mary Steenbergen -- but not Oprah Winfrey. "Her publicist told me she wasn't invited," said Browning.

I am a resident of Rhinebeck NY,and find our town very clean,folksie,romantic,and we have lots of history surounding us here, in upstate Ny.
The Clintons chose wisely,the oldest INN in the us,a beautiful Estate,calm suroundings,great People,great Food,nice people live here,no extremists,no weather underground(lol)
Lots of mom and pop inns,
A beautiful sunny day,and a sweet Daughter getting married,what more could a mom and dad want?
maybe ?some of the nasty a holes in here.leaving their hurtful coments to get silenced by a higher power?

Reading all these comments makes me verysad. None of the negative things that are being said matters. Anyone who takes the time to say such degrading things about someone they don’t even know is often consumed by jealousy People who judge others by their looks are shallow and miserable. My advice to the naysayers is to get a life and quit trying to make others as miserable as you are. By the way, I doubt seriously that the government is paying for any of the wedding. But if it makes you feel better to belive that then be my guest. NOBODY CARES

I am as disgusted at the personal remarks aimed at Chelsea Clinton, NOW, as I was when the first remark was made about her as a child in the White House. Chelsea has grown into quite a beautiful woman, for all of you who are so UP on beauty and it’s contrast.
To remark in your way is as bad as making remarks about people with disabilities etc. I sincerely hope that none of you will ever have to eat your words (or hide your child) when it comes to your own.

The media has pushed this wedding as the “wedding of the century”. in an effort to make it a spectacular event. Chelsea has always been in the background and I don’t think I have ever heard her speak. I don’t think most Americans are interested in her wedding. The little girl is now a grown woman.I am neither Republican nor Democrat but am wondering if she declared herself a Republican, would the bad comments from some quarters stop? Would she suddenly be declared beautiful by her detractors and finally would the bad vibe writers like such comments about THEIR children? I doubt it. I only wish her well.
