Suspect in Natalee Holloway Disappearance Caught

Jordan van der Sloot, the suspect in the murder of a young Peruvian woman and also in the high-profile disappearance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba five years ago, has finally been apprehended in Santiago, Chile, CNN reports.

Peruvian authorities investigating the slaying of 21-year-old Stephany Flores Ramirez, who was found on Wednesday in a hotel room rented to van der Sloot, were working with officials from Interpol, Chile, Argentina and Colombia to find the Dutch man, the Peruvian justice minister told CNN Thursday.

It is almost five years to the day that young Natalee Holloway disappeared, while vacationing in Aruba. The 2009 Lifetime TV movie "Natalee Holloway" detailed Holloway's mother, Beth (played by Tracy Pollen), and her struggle to find out the truth about her daughter's disappearance.

In a statement to "Extra," Beth Holloway extends her deepest sympathy to the family of Stephany Flores Ramirez and prays for swift and sure justice. She is also very grateful for the outpouring of prayers and support for Natalee and her family.

"America's Most Wanted" host John Walsh, who also crusaded for Holloway's parents, said, "I hope that they get justice. I think those three young men in Aruba got away with the murder of Natalee Holloway."

Joran Van der Sloot belongs with those hard core criminals in that jail in Peru, he is not different than them……and they will teach him a lesson ….!

WELL, ANYONE LISTEN TO THE NEWS TODAY, THE MONSTER CONFESSED, I DON’T BELIEVE IN COINCIDENCE, IT WAS FIVE YEARS ALMOST TO THE DAY OF NATALIE HOLLOWAYS DISAPPEARANCE AND “MURDER”, I REALLY BELIEVE IF THEIRS TRULY A PLACE AFTER DEATH, NATALIE HOLLOWAY WAS SOMEHOW ABLE TO REACH OUT AND GET THIS GUY CAUGHT, EVERYTHING ABOUT NATALIE, SHE WAS CARING, SWEET, INTELLIGENT, A TRULY WONDERFUL PERSON, I REALLY BELIEVE CLEARLY THIS KIND OF PERSON WHO WOULD MAKE SURE THIS MONSTER GOT CAUGHT, AND HIS LATEST VICTIM (THE ONE HE FINALLY ADMITTED MURDERING) SHE LIKEWISE SEEMED LIKE THE KIND OF PERSON, IF ANY TWO PEOPLE COULD SOMEHOW REACH OUT FROM THE GRAVE AND MAKE SURE THIS MONSTER FINALLY CAME TO JUSTICE, I SO HOPE AND PRAY THEY FINALLY FIND THE EVIDENCE (BETTER STILL NATALIES’ BODY) SO THIS MONSTER NEVER SEES THE LIGHT OF DAY EVER AGAIN.

This guy knows what happended and where Natalie Holloways’ body is, why should we give him ANY RIGHTS, these wonderful parents of this sweet, beautiful, innocent young woman need closure, I feel this guy should be given some sort of truth drug so once and for all, Natalie can be brought home and her parents given the closure they deserve. Also, I find it hard to believe that these two young women were his only victims, while he’s under, lets get to the truth, there has to be more bodies. This guy from the beginning was too smooth, too comfortable, he’s done this at least 3 or more times before.

I don’t think physical torture will do anything for this guy, but the isolation, having nothing else to do but look at the faces, in the eyes of these beautiful, wonderful young women, hearing their families pain over and over again, he may not have a conscious nor a soul, but this, this would be the worse kind of torture.

Louise you may be right. I myself have a serious problem with the use of torture, but in his case I would make an exception. He must be tortured extremely slowly, but very painfully in numerous variety of ways, so that he must never get accustomed to one version…his life must be sucked out of him over his lifetime. He must beg for death, like those girls begged him for their lives, but just as he denied them, he too must be denied. He must be kept alive, but only to experience pain of the worst kind. Death indeed is too kind for him.

WHAT’S SO UPSETTING IS HOW LITTLE WE LEARN. TED BUNDY PUT A NEW FACE ON THE SERIAL KILLER, PRIOR TO HIM, WE THOUGHT OF A SERIAL KILLER AS BEING SOMEONE UNATTRACTIVE, UNEDUCATED, A LONER, ETC., THEN CAME TED BUNDY AND WE WERE SUPPOSE TO LEARN THE “MONSTER, THE SERIAL KILLER”, VERY OFTEN IS THE ATTRACTIVE YOUNG MAN OR WOMAN, WHO DRESSES WELL, IS WELL EDUCATED, IS CHARASMATIC.

I BET WHEN THEY START LOOKING INTO THIS GUYS PAST WHAT WE WILL SEE IS SOMEONE WHO HAS A HISTORY OF ABUSING LIVING THINGS, I.E. ANIMALS, LOST HIS TEMPER FOR NO APPARENT REASON, WE’RE GOING TO SEE SOMEONE FROM A YOUNG AGE SHOWED NO REMORSE FOR HIS ACTIONS, ETC.,

THIS GUY MURDERED TWO BEAUTIFUL YOUNG WOMAN, TWO YOUNG, INTELLIGENT, SWEET, WONDERFUL YOUNG WOMEN WITH THEIR WHOLE LIVES A HEAD OF THEM, BOTH THESE YOUNG WOMEN WERE SO FULL OF LIFE, HAD PLANS FOR THEIR FUTURES, THIS MONSTER IN COLD BLOOD TOOK THEIR LIVES. I WOULDN’T BE SURPRISED IF THEY CHECK HARD AND FAR ENOUGH THESE TWO WOMEN ARE HIS ONLY VICTIMS, SO WHY DIDN’T WE LEARN FROM TED BUMDY, I REMEMBER FOLLOWING THAT CASE AND HEARING WHAT TED BUNDY SHOWED US ABOUT THE NEW FACE OF THE SERIAL KILLER, APPARENTLY WE DIDN’T LEARN ENOUGH OR WE WEREN’T PAYING AS MUCH ATTENTION AS WE SHOULD HAVE.

I’M DEFINITELY IN FAVOR OF CAPITAL PUNISHMENT, BUT IN A CASE LIKE THIS, I HOPE THEY PUT HIM IN A CELL TOTALLY ISOLATED FROM THE OTHER PRISONERS, WITH LARGE PICTURES OF BOTH NATALIE HOLLOWAY AND STEPHANY FLORES RAMIREZ ON THE CEILING, ON THE WALLS, SO EVERY DAY FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE HE HAS NOTHING MORE TO DO THAN LOOK AT WHAT HE DID, I WISH THE FAMILIES WOULD RECORD MESSAGES TELLING HIM THE DEVASTATION HE CAUSED, THE EFFECT ITS HAD ON EVERYONE, AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN, 7 DAYS A WEEK, 24 HOURS A DAY, ITS PLAYED FOR HIM.

DEATH WOULD BE TOO EASY FOR THIS GUY, AND ITS PROBABLY WHAT HE WANTS, HE DIDN’T GIVE THOSE TWO BEAUTIFUL YOUNG WOMEN WHAT THEY WANTED, LIFE, A FUTURE, SO LETS NOT GIVE HIM WHAT HE WANTS, I BELIEVE HE SHOULD GET WHAT HE DESERVES.

IF ONLY, HARDLY SEEMS APPROPRIATE NOW, BUT THE FACT IS, THEY HAD ENOUGH CIRCUMSTANTIAL EVIDENCE IN THE DISAPPEARANCE OF NATALIE HOLLOWAY, IF JUSTICE HAD BEEN DONE THEN ANOTHER FAMILY AND ANOTHER YOUNG, BEAUTIFUL, SWEET YOUNG WOMAN WOULDN’T HAVE DIED.
THIS GUY IS A SOCIOPATH, PSYCHOPATH, IF JUSTICE IS REALLY GOING BE DONE “FINALLY” THEY REALLY SHOULD CHECK TO SEE IF THIS GUY HAS BEEN A SUSPECT IN ANY OTHER DISAPPEARANCES.

I KNOW IT’S “INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY”, BUT IN THIS CASE, THEIR IS JUST TO MUCH CIRCUMSTANTIAL EVIDENCE, I PRAY THIS TIME, JUSTICE WILL BE SERVED, SO NO OTHER YOUNG WOMAN, NO OTHER FAMILY WILL HAVE TO BEAR THIS UNBEARABLE PAIN.
