David Boreanaz Admits to Cheating on His Wife

"Bones" star David Boreanaz has brought his extramarital affairs into the open as a way to thwart an extortion attempt, People.com reports.

In a case similar to David Letterman's public announcement of his infidelities last year, Boreanaz confessed to being unfaithful to his wife, Jaime Bergman, because a former mistress threatened to expose the affair if he didn't give her money.

"Our marriage has been tainted with my infidelities," Boreanaz admitted. "I just want to be open and honest. I was irresponsible."

"We're working on our marriage," he continued. "We're working on repairing what has been damaged so badly."

Boreanaz did not identify the woman who was threatening him, but he was rumored to be having an affair with Tiger Woods' mistress, Rachel Uchitel.

Why do you all care what someone whom you do not know, nor will ever meet is doing with there time? Are your own lifes so boring that you have to be a part of this? His job as an actor doesn’t make him a better person then anyone else this is just his job people!!

Extra’s portrayal of Rachel Uchitel, as some sort of celebrity is ridiculous and disappointing. In an interview with Mario, it’s stated that she knows what she’s looking for. “I’m very into loyalty, honesty and humor,” Rachel reveals. Well, I guess loyalty is allegedly/ rumored sleeping with other husbands that are married to other woman, honesty must have meant denying any affair with husbands of other woman and humor was splitting with husband Steven Ehrenkranz, just after four months of marriage. Are you kidding Extra?
