Following the news this morning of the death of teen idol Corey Haim, fans and stars logged on to their Twitter accounts to express their sympathies.

Alyssa Milano: "Just woke up to the sad, sad news that Corey Haim passed away. RIP sweet boy," the actress dated Haim from 1987 to 1990.

How sad, another young,cute,and talented actor gone way before his time. I will always remember him with Corey Feldman in the Lost Boys. What an adorable kid and a handsome man he became. May god bless you and your family. You will never be forgotten. Rest in peace Corey!:)

Let’s remember the Corey he was, not the Corey today. He was a talented actor. I grew up to his movies and still remember them today. RIP Corey, you were taken too soon and will be missed. But one thing I want to know is what is happening to young Hollywood?? We are losing too many young talented people way too soon, RIP Health Ledger, DJ AM, Brittney Murphy,and now Corey Haim….

It’s a sad shame when addiction takes over. I remember the cute kid in Lost Boys. Where were all his friends when he was going through this? What good does their twittering do at this point?

my heart goes out to Corey’s family and friends who loved him. Yes… it is very sad that he is gone… it’s also sad that he was on a self distructive path for many years, and he couldn’t pull himself out of it… dispite alot of help from family and friends… Feldman had enough of him abusing himself… you could see it on on the “Two Corey’s”. Haim was stuck in self pity mode… he wanted fame again… he was desperate to film a Lost Boy’s II movie, but he couldn’t get it together… very sad. I read that his death was an accidental overdose… I’m not buying it…

Oh Corey!!! We will miss you so. Let us all think of Corey’s family, and of Corey Feldman, who also just lost MJ. Drugs are evil, Hollywood is even worse. Somebody needs to take a stand before another beautiful talented life is lost.

i remember him from the 80’s. he and feldman were like brothers. you can tell in the pic that extra posted that feldman looks good(sober) and haim still looks like hes using(something. its too bad when it turns out like this!! RIP COREY!!

So, sad! Seems to be a recurring thing with young Hollywood Stars. Someone needs to convince them, that there are better places to be out there, then Hollywood, if the stress is, too, much, which the evidence proves it is!:-(
