'South Park' Targets Tiger Woods

Who better "South Park" to poke fun at Tiger Woods?

The irreverent animated show will start its 14th season on Wednesday by taking aim at the troubled golfer, as he "encounters" Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman in their make-believe Colorado town. Watch a clip here:

"It's such an important issue in America right now -- the sex addiction outbreak," "South Park" creator Matt Stone told The Huffington Post. "We're all really concerned about him and hope he gets better."

"South Park" is known for taking swipes at any number of issues, including the Church of Scientology and depicting Jesus Christ defecating on President Bush and the American flag. This time it's sex addiction and the relationship between powerful men, willing women and bad public relations.

The show particularly mocks Woods' Feb. 19th public apology for his misbehavior. "There's a delicacy in talking about (Woods) that we don't have to worry about," Stone said, who was fascinated and disgusted by Woods' on-air speech.

"South Park" takes on Tiger on Weds., March 17, on Comedy Central.

You seriously think “right-wingers” are behind a program like South Park?? Are you SERIOUS!! That and too many other shows are as LIBERAL as liberal gets!! Why don’t you just get back on your soap box and BLAME BUSH some more.. because that seems to be the LEFTY way of thought process. Blame game never seems to get old huh. Rediculous!

So far as Tiger (cheata).. he deserves all the world that is falling apart around him? And if she truly takes him back.. SHE’S a complete FOOL!! Forgiveness is in a “mistake” of one descrepency,.. it’s the continued mistake that is with malice. He can, and he WILL do it again.. and if she takes him back, she deserves the pain- because she’s all but giving him permission to continue his adultrous affairs!

Jim are you saying tiger woods is making the world better by running around porking low life women? And Dan, if you act like tiger, you get treated like tiger.

I remember back when South Park used to be funny. I miss those days.

They did not know the proper time to call it quits.

They have nothing funny or creative to offer any more. Now they’re just about attacking people.

We know the creators are right wingers who hate everyone who is trying to make the world better.

And that’s ok, but either give it up or go back to the days where humor is the goal, not showing what assholes you are.

Please Dan W., South Park is the ultimate vehicle to slam such behaviors.

First: SP is a cartoon!

Second: Cartoons can get away with that which regular news outlets and talk shows cannot; They can tell the TRUTH!!

Third: Get a sense of humor!! It’s a Cartoon!!!

And finally; My personal feeling about being parodied on South Park is something to be PROUD of!!!! A rare honor that i will never know…..

um, don’t know what town in Colorado you live, but I do know it’s not South Park. There is no such town. South Park is a geographic region in Colorado.
