Robert Pattinson: 'The Vagina Monologue'

"Extra" just had to know what Robert Pattinson meant when he recently said he was "allergic" to a certain part of the female anatomy.

In a recent photo shoot for Details magazine, Pattinson posed with several naked ladies. He was later quoted as saying of the shoot, "I'm allergic to vagina. But I can't say I had no idea, because it was a 12-hour shoot, so you kind of get the picture that these women are going to stay naked after, like, five or six hours."

"When you sit around for like five hours with someone, you just regret everything that comes out of your mouth," the actor admits to "Extra," saying that when his friends read the comment they told him he sounded like "such an arrogant idiot."

Promoting his new romantic drama "Remember Me," RPattz describes his "Remember Me" character as someone who doesn't care "about anything and then suddenly randomly caring about something to an extreme extent, which no one else around you can understand."

Has a woman ever done that to Pattinson? "Every time!" he laughs. "It just depends how long it lasts after."

One thing that concerns Pattinson is overexposure. "The only thing I'm worried about is over-saturation of your image everywhere. Then people just get annoyed by you. They're just like... I see his face everywhere! I hate him!" As if Twihards could hate a face like that!

"Remember Me" opens in theaters March 12.

He said on the view and in another article he was joking. He explained why he made that particular joke and you people are still bashing him for it. Why don’t you haters just back off. The guy is an adult and allowed to make dirty jokes. As far as his sexuality goes, that is nobodys business but his. I think the ones calling him gay and being complete jerks need to worry about themselves instead of knocking this talented young man who has a great future in acting.

I think he is tasteless by his choice of words in public.We can handle it, but we shouldn’t have to hear it. I also think he is scared to take on the part of seducing three older women, because he obviously too inexperienced to get into it wholeheartedly. It shows. He’s rather “delicate”.SHOULD BE INTERESTING. Didn’t he read the script? Why did he agree to do it? Is it all more hype that he’s nervous? Or Bothered? Wait ‘til Jimmy Fallon gets a hold of that one; stick that one in a tree.

wow so this is what freedom of speech really means? that we are ostracized by telling a joke? people get a life I think Mr. pattinson said it best” this is a strange world we live in” it’s a joke people, ha,ha?? and as far as him being gay, I highly doubt that why! not ask Ms. Stewart if she feels he is gay.

Oh for Pete’s sake. How many times does he have to say the Vagina comment was a joke and not a declaration of his sexual preference. I personally love that he has kept his old friends and they are close enough to him to tell him when he sounds like an arrogant idiot. No one is harder on him than he is on himself. I think he gets very nervous in interview and just kind of says things without thinking it through trying to be amusing and interesting. He has said that he was worried fans would be offended by the naked models in the photographs and tried to make a joke which certainly did take the focus off of the photographs. He had good intentions but the off handed comment will haunt him for awhile until the next “Oh no he didn’t say that” moment comes along for someone else.

@Matty-Context is everything.

Little boys/girls who make homophobic comments are more worried about their own sexuality. Their concerns are reflected in their obsession with others sexuality and how they obviously feel homosexuality is a bad thing.

Any guy that openly says that is obviously gay. He likes to play with Lincoln Logs!!
