Lady Gaga Collapses!

The pop sensation was performing her final song, "Bad Romance," during a New Zealand concert and was overcome by heat. "Telephone" 911!

She struggled to sing and stand for a minute before dropping to sit down. Gaga continued to fan herself and crawled around the stage to the music before finishing the song while lying on her back.

Tour promoter Michael Copper says that Gaga is "totally fine," adding, "It was warm at the show, she was tired and a bit dehydrated by the end of a two-hour plus performance. She performed the second Auckland show the following night without an issue and will be back in full match fitness for her first Australian show."

This is the second time Gaga has collapsed this year. The singer was forced to cancel her concert in January after collapsing her in dressing room right before a show in Indiana.

hey folks, chill out on the lip synching thing………..YOU try dancing like she does and sing at the same time and see how it sounds…………most performers that dance and sing do that……..makes perfect sense to me………..

Okay, not a huge fan, but SHE is a girl. Even in her kid pics SHE is a GIRL! She doesn’t do drugs, either. Could you imagine having to wear wigs and costumes, in all those lights, dancing and singing with all those fans, and the HEAT?? You’d collapse too, and I am sure, leave the stage, not keep trying to perform. At least she tried to give her fans their money’s worth, instead of just walking off. She has always been flamboyant and glitzy, even way before she was famous.

I must say the Lady is a Great and Original performer. I’m a babyboomer and have been involved with all the types of music. Lady G made it appear as part of her routine.

First stop saying/calling “SHE”…Show must go on but this is ridiculus, he is insulting all audiences…If he didn’t have those hideous out fits and trying to prove himself with the name “[Lady] Gaga”, he would have never been taken attantion and famous. His voice is just ordinary…Everything is just SHOW, fake…Yes, He is very high…Usualy he always LIP SYNCS…

Not sure about the lip syncing. I’m pretty all the big performers do it! How could you put on such a physical performance and not? So she’s a little bizarre. She’s amazingly talented and so beautiful, really. No one can take that away from her. I’m 44 yrs. old, have loved all types of music my entire life and consider myself a pretty good judge of character. After seeing Lady Gaga in several TV interviews, I am SO impressed with her! Certainly doesn’t appear to be a drug addict to me. Hopefully she’ll be able to take a little time off to rest. All the best to her!

Why did none of the dancers onstage with her, who saw that she wasn’t following the routine, try to help her or at least ask if she was all right?

The AC was broke in the stadium where she was performing. Several people in the audience passed out from heat exhaustion as well. Bet all you saying she was doing drugs feel pretty horrible about now huh. Clearly she was almost passing out from overheating.

I think she is absoulely amazing! Not too many stars would stay on stage! She is an amazing performer who will be around for decades! Hat’s of to ya Lady!

I think its unreasonable to jump to the conclusion that she’s abusing drugs. She clearly has a busy schedule and performing is physically straining, especially in heat. I actually think its commendable that she even stayed on the stage when she was clearly feeling very weak. Whatever the reason for her collapse was, Lady Gaga is a nice contrast from the slew of divas these days that leave their fans hanging without an apology or explanation. Obviously, shes not really lip syncing; the singing was somewhat off too. I wasn’t really a fan before, I was pretty neutral about her. But her persistence is admirable; good for her.

She has talent, but she (like all the others) now believes her own press. She will be in Celebrity Rehab soon, and we can all wring our hands over her, saying “and she seemed to have had it all, what a tragedy”!

I don’t like “Lady” Gaga but I have to give credit where credit is due and I give her credit for not taking off and staying on she droped down 3 times and looked bad really bad-but kept trying. (:-)
