Heather Mills' Leg Cleared for Takeoff
The ex-wife of Beatle legend Sir Paul McCartney was departing London's Heathrow Airport when she was asked to remove her artificial leg so it could swabbed for explosives.
Mills triggered an alarm as she made her way through security. She was then instructed to roll up her pant leg for guards to swab. Despite the unpleasant task, onlookers said she handled herself with dignity.
Heather and McCartney split in 2006. They have one daughter together, Beatrice Milly, 6.

Is this really news? Of the many things I care about, standard procedures at an airport are not one of them. This has happened many times with my own artificial hand and is routine.
