Actor Corey Haim Found Dead

Corey Haim, 38, was found unresponsive in his Los Angeles apartment during the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Haim was pronounced dead at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank of an apparent overdose. An autopsy will determine the official cause of death.

Haim was a teen heartthrob in the early '80s for films "Lucas," "The Lost Boys," and "A License to Drive." He collaborated on many films with Corey Feldman, dubbing them "The Two Coreys." The pair starred in an A&E reality TV show named after them, but the show was canceled in 2008.

Haim reportedly struggled with drug addiction for several years and was told by Feldman two years ago during their reality show that he should get sober. 

According to IMD, Haim had recently completed two films, "American Sunset" and "Terminal Hotel."

This is such a needless death, I am so sorry 4 his family’s loss due 2 experiece the loss of my only child 2 a different addiction!! @24yrs old & 3 kids left behind but u try 2 help them because they still r young& think they know what’s best.they won’t tell u what’s going on inside or they’ll lie & say things r okay! And then u get the phone call u prayed ud never get w/no anwers &some get letter that make any sense. God bless all that r left to grieve 4 this young man at an early age!

Also, I’m sorry but I don’t recall anyone showing they cared to much, except Corey F. and his true fans. It’s irritating cause then everyone has to come out of the wood work to show they truly care, they did the same with Robert Downey Jr and his fans stuck by him too. Really rude to you all that step forward only now when he’s gone
