Report: Kate Gosselin Will Be 'Dancing with the Stars'

Giving new meaning to the phrase 'shake it mama,' mom of eight Kate Gosselin is reportedly lacing up her dancing shoes to compete on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars."

Intrepid entertainment reporter and co-host of Los Angeles' KEARTH 101's morning show Lisa Stanley reports Kate is practicing her two step at the famed Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Stanley says the reality show star is "under a shroud of security," boning up on her bossa nova at the posh hotel.

"Extra" will have the complete list of this season's competitors when the full cast is announced on Monday after "The Bachelor" season finale.

I like DWTS, but I like it for the dancing. I was amazed at Kelly Osborne last season. But I truly loathe Kate Gosselin (whether she’s nice person, I don’t know, but she is the definition of media wh—- because she puts her face and her problems on TV and People magazine, constantly jeopardizing her children’s future.) Bad Move, ABC. I WILL NOT WATCH THE SHOW WHILE SHE IS STILL ON. PROMISE.

Why is Kate getting put down just because she has kids and is dancing. How many other mothers are on the show. Who cares if she has two kids or eight as long as she is making money to take care of her kids and not dipping her hands into your pocket it should not matter how she does it, and i am sure Jon is going to be watching the kids some of the time. Get off the womens back!

Good for Kate! It’s a $125,000 paycheck and she gets to practice at her home until the show’s opening. She’s just another mom trying to raise her family. At least she’s bringing in $$. Go Kate go!

Kate is no mom of the year, just as Jon is no father of the year. The last place this selfish woman needs to be is on yet ANOTHER reality show. She gets paid whether she is on one week or ten. I hope that when the announcement is made this evening, that she is not on the show. I won’t watch it if she is, and I’ve watched almost every season. She needs to take care of her kids in PA, NOT dancing in L.A., period. Go away, Kate…please!

Gimmie a break. She has become so SELF CENTERED. Because of HER I wont be watching, & I am a fan of the show! She has done nothing to become a celeb, except become pregnant. (by artificial means!)She said in an interview she wanted to be on Dancing With The Stars & boom! she got it! If you agree, dont watch,dont vote for her. That will send her home to the kids, where she belongs.

I wonder why no one ever criticizes women like Angelina Jolie about working away from home. She’s got a houseful of kids too. The fact is that Kate is a single mother raising 8 kids. Even when she was married to that loser, she was raising them alone. She is the one with the initiative to find ways to support the kids. Would you rather she quit everything to stay home and then join welfare like the loser Octomom in California. It seems that no matter what Kate does, she will be criticized. She can’t win for losing with some. I say ‘good for you, Kate.’

Fist of all she is NOT a celeb. I just read she is practicing at the Beverly Wilshire hotel under a shroud of security. WHY? WHY does she even need ONE security person aside from sleeping with him and calling him security. And second this show takes a TON of a real celebs time..
