Joe Jackson: 'Murray Got Off Too Easy'

joe jackson

Stage dad Joe Jackson sat down with Larry King after yesterday's hearing to discuss charges against Dr. Conrad Murray in connection with the death of his son, Michael Jackson.

Joe Jackson tells King that Murray is just the "fall guy." That other people had to have been involved in Michael's death.

Joe believes Murray got off too easy and that justice wasn't served. "I was looking for justice. And justice, to me, would be the murder charge."

Brian Oxman, attorney for the Jackson family, was heartbroken by the charges. "This doctor is giving this drug -- this Propofol -- like it was some kind of Sleep-Eze -- or a pill for sleep. It is anesthesia," Oxman told King. "It's dangerous when you do it outside of a hospital and you don't have the resuscitation equipment; you don't have the necessary monitoring of the heartbeat and the pulse and the oxygen level in the body."

Murray was booked yesterday and charged with involuntary manslaughter. He was released on $75,000 bail and is scheduled to be back in court on April 5th.

with all due respect i loved mj from along time ago, but i truly believe that he really killed himself for abusing the drugs that he did. yes the dr is at fault for his act as well/ but if it wouldn’t have been him it would have been another dr. mj was an addict and i don’t care you try to cover that. you have to work on that for the rest of your life and i guess him dipped into the well to many times. it doesn’t matter your stats or what addiction is still the same and it can cause DEATH…

If you are sick of hearing about Michael then why did you: take the time to read the article and then respond? If you don’t like MJ then don’t read anything about him, just move on! No one forced you to read the article!

I agree 100% with Joe Jackson. Where is the justice Dr. Murray should get LIFE in prison for killing Michael. Four years isnt anything big deal. He should never be able to practice medicine again!!!

Sunrise, wrong, Michael was not taking drugs for years. Yes, he was taking drug for his illness like his skin disorder (which was proven), lupus, etc. They did NOT find pain killers in this man system. As said, MJ used this drug for sleep because he had a sleep disorder. Yes, MJ should have been more careful however it is still the doctor’s fault for doing this. If someone wants to comment suicide and you kill that person, YOU ARE AT FAULT (not the person) no matter if that person wanted to die. And in this case, this doctor was doing something that ETHNICALLY he should not have been doing. He injected Michael. Michael did NOT inject himself.

I loved Micheal music and know he will always be remember in the music industry and miss. However, people need to also realizee that Michael was also at fault here. He has been taking this drug for years and getting it at any mean possible. Yes the doctor administer it but it wasn’t premeditated.
