Report: The Truth About Tiger's Car Crash
Sex, texts and betrayal -- two sources close to Elin Nordegren have broken their silence about what really happened on the night of Tiger Woods' fateful car crash in November.
According to Daily Beast writer Gerald Posner, sources tell him that Tiger revealed to Elin that the National Enquirer was planning on printing a story about his alleged affair with mistress Rachel Uchitel, which he denied.
On November 25 -- the day before Thanksgiving -- the PGA star put Uchitel on the phone with his wife for approximately a half-hour, to convince Elin that their relationship was strictly platonic.

According to the report, Nordegren learned more details about the Enquirer's affair story the next day, sparking a fight between the couple. The sources allege that Tiger took an Ambien to end the fight and go to sleep -- after which Elin grabbed his phone and found romantic text messages between the golfer and Uchitel.
The sources claim Elin then texted Rachel pretending to be Tiger, writing, "I miss you," and asking, "When are we seeing each other again?" Uchitel replied, prompting Nordegren to call the nightlife entrepreneur -- who answered, thinking she'd talk to Woods.
Both sources say Elin confronted Rachel, and was met with Uchitel's surprised reply of "Oh f**k." Uchitel then hung up the phone.
According to the report, Elin then woke Tiger up by screaming at him. The golfer apparently texted Rachel again, and Nordegren read it. Mrs. Woods reportedly lost it, chasing her husband with a golf club as he hopped into a car, then crashed into a tree.
The sources claim that Elin is furious with her husband, but waiting for him to finish sex rehabilitation before deciding whether to divorce him or not. Tiger is reportedly being treated at Gentle Path in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Gloria Allred, Rachel Uchitel's attorney, said of the story, "We have no comment on this."
