Paula to Join Simon on 'The X Factor'?

The new season of "American Idol" is in full swing, and "Extra" has the inside scoop on everything from Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell's future after "Idol," to what went down in the judges' chambers during Ellen's first week! But what about 'X Factor'?

Abdul tells "Extra's" Carlos Diaz that there could be more Simon in her future. As to a reunion in the works for Britain's "The X Factor," Paula cryptically says, "We'll see what happens."

Kara DioGuardi also dished to "Extra" about Ellen DeGeneres at the InStyle Golden Globes after party, where our Terri Seymour asked if DeGeneres is "Miss Nice or Miss Nasty at the judging table. " Kara answered, "It's neither, when she's critical, she does it in a way that she also gives a positive."

Although, I agree with most posts, poor Ellen, I think joined the cast as the show is most likely on its way out. It has turned quite broing and the same thing every year. And it’s like the same people, but they are actually letting mroe individuals on, instead of just plain old generic voices. But please, American X Factor? A JOKE!!

She may have no musical background, but she KNOWS music and she KNOWS star power, the IT factor and lots of other things. If you didn’t catch a comment she made about one of the singers on tuesday night, the 1st night of the girls, she told one of them that a few notes were off pitch, and told o couple others something like not to get so excited or nervous that they go out of key. Could you hear that? That’s to me, what makes her a good judge, so far, she’s critical when she needs to be, although as with everything we see her do in life, turns it into a positive, and she obviously has great ears, if you know what that means, and that’s what you need to judge a musical competition, the ability to hear irght and wrong notes,a nd the ability to see the IT factor.

Alright, has anyone actually seen Xfactor? Go to You Tube and search for it. That show is one big ball of cheese and if you can sit through more then 10 minutes of that you should just stab yourself in the eye.

More Paula please. I would definitely be watching British X factor if she becomes a judge. I will prefer her on American X factor. It would be amazing if she’s on both X factors.

Yeah, I totally agree. American Idol screwed up big time when they were too cheap to pay Paula. Obviously, they don’t know how many people ONLY tuned in to see Her & Simon. I loved their chemistry. Screw the contestants, they come and go, but the judges were ALWAYS there. I never got attached to any of the contestants. I got attached to Simon & Paula. When she left, I stopped watching because the HOOK they had in me was released.

Im confused. Is she gonna be on UK x factor or US x factor? HOPEFULY BOTH. I WANT MORE PAULA :) Paula ROCKs. I dont care for Idol anymore, Im not watching it anymore this season. Yawn
