Comedienne Kathy Griffin teamed up with Anderson Cooper again for CNN's New Year's Eve coverage in Times Square on Thursday and the "D-List" star couldn't help but let a curse word slip! Oops!

While discussing the Balloon Boy hoax, Griffin said the F-word as she jokingly mispronounced Falcon Heene's name. "Fal-- F**kin'? Falcon? How do you say it?" Griffin asked.

all of us know that they’re doing this things on purpose like any celebrities then if someone will make a comment that will be the start for them to be the talk of the hollywood circle once again

Anonymous - I love your remark, it is people like you that drive Kathy to keep saying such things - - it’s called the “shock” factor. I find it hysterical you’re so up in arms and go so far as to call her a “pig”….you have given her the type of reaction she constantly seeks.

I Love Kathy, she adds sparkle and joy to an otherwise dull show, and like your other viewers I did not hear the F Bomb! I hope they bring her back, and if they don’t I will not watch thier coverage!

I love Kathy’s style and I don’t think she did anything wrong. I never heard the alleged F bomb. I hope they bring her back next year too. If not, I won’t watch their show. There are plenty of other shows to choose from.

Kathy Griffin does things like this for two reasons: 1. She knows that her name will be all over the entertainment pages the next day. 2. She’s mocking the conventions of entertainment, in which crude behavior gets attention. She’s a bright woman. Not everyone likes her style, but I love that she doesn’t take herself, or the emptiness that is showbiz, too seriously.
