Jamie Foxx to Replace Simon on 'Idol'?

When Simon Cowell says "Ta Ta" to "Idol" at the end of this season, creator Simon Fuller will have to find a replacement -- Jamie Foxx, perhaps?

An "Idol" insider told Life & Style that actor/singer Jamie Foxx and Interscope Records co-founder Jimmy Iovine are both strong contenders for the judging job. Many names have been mentioned as replacements -- everyone from La Toya Jackson to Madonna.

Cowell is leaving "Idol" to bring his British smash hit show "The X Factor" to the US... but has yet to announce who will be judging.
