'Hannah Montana' to End after Fourth Season

Miley Cyrus' 'Hannah Montana' to End after Fourth Season

Miley Cyrus is moving on from "Hannah Montana."

The New York Post reports the upcoming fourth season will be its last.

"You never know in this business... but right now we're scheduled to wrap [forever] after shooting this new batch of episodes," Disney Channel Worldwide's senior VP/programming Adam Bonnett tells The Post.

Production on the fourth season is scheduled to begin Jan. 18 and end this summer.

The fourth season will reportedly premiere in late spring. "The [new] episodes will continue to roll out at least over a full year," Bonnet says.

"Montana" skyrocketed Cyrus, 17, to fame and made her a global sensation. The show is currently one of the most successful children's TV programs and has generated numerous CDs, merchandise, a stadium tour and feature film.

After the teen queen wraps "Hannah Montana" she won't be totally free from Disney, since her label is also Disney Records.

Thank Goodness!!! She is leaving the show. She is so arrogant and obnoxious and completely into herself. I have never been able to watch her on TV or any other medium. Miley, you cannot sing worth a damn, so please try volunteering to the poor or something besides singing and show business.

Miley has a nice voice and she is very pretty, I think it is time she move on she will be around for a long time. Look at the majority of the crap that pop and country gives us these days, most are one CD artist and will never be heard from again. Give me a break!! This one has talent I hope she keeps using it to the fullest….

My children and I are going to miss her. She is very young and has a whole life ahead of her. But it’s been great while it’s lasted.

God Bless Her and All the Best!

I have read several blogs and review comments posted from various internet boards about Miley Cyrus and find many of these reviews and blogs very mean spirited and catty.

These unkind posts are shared by participants/bloggers that obviously lack success and happiness in their own lives; hence, attacking teenage actresses and actors for kicks? Just that bored with your own life?

It amazes me how catty unsuccessful and unhappy people can be about another person’s success and happiness. Sheer jealousy or boredom can be the only rational explanation.

Miley Cyrus is an inspiration to many young children and adults, not her Hanna Montana character.

Miley Cyrus knows what she wants and pursues her dreams. Her accomplishments and sheer commitment to achieve these aspirations and goals is inspirational to many viewers.

She is an icon that will be replayed for 30+ more years, just like Archie Bunker, Three’s Company, The Brady Bunch, and even the Simpsons.

I wish Miley all the best in the future. I am sad to see the show end because my daughters really enjoy watching it.

I know that when parents are famous,
Well they think that they might have a chance to put their kids in the lime light.
But the truth is Bill Ray there’s kids out their that have real talent.
Miley keep trying maybe one day you’ll
get there.

I’m so glad she’s going to be done. I can’t stand her or her followers. Bunch of sheep all wanting to be just like her. She’s NOTHING special. Hopefully she’ll be forgotten about after the show ends.

At first, I didn’t like her. After I heard her sing, I changed my mind. She has a great voice and a lot of talent. I hope to hear more from her in the future!

It’s finally time her 15 mintues will be ending. she said she’d never see twilight cause she doesn’t believe in vampires!! what a dumb little twit, does she think we do? it’s a book and it’s a movie, not a belief system. grow up and get out of our lives.

It’s sad, but she’s 17 now, and she has to move on sometime. I wish Miley would switch from pop to country music. Even though “The Climb” is marketed as a pop song, it is very much country, and shows off what a wonderful voice and lovely Southern twang Miley has.
