UPDATE: Barbro Holmberg has been released from the hospital.

Elin Nordegren's mom has been identified as the woman rushed to the hospital from Tiger Woods' home early Tuesday morning.

Barbro Holmberg, a prominent Swedish politician, is in stable condition, according to the Associated Press.

Firefighters responded to a 911 call at the golfer's mansion at 2:36 AM, Orange County Fire Rescue spokeswoman Genevieve Latham told the Orlando Sentinel.

Holmberg was taken to Health Central Hospital in Ocoee, the same hospital that treated Woods after he crashed his Cadillac Escalade on Nov. 27.

Video shot by the local NBC affiliate showed the Holmberg on a stretcher. It was reported Holmberg was an "advanced life support patient."

A Black Cadillac SUV similar to the one Woods crashed was spotted at the hospital Tuesday morning.

Holmberg flew to Florida after news of Woods' affairs with multiple women became public.

what Tiger did was wrong but he is human and how would you like to be his shoes. he will never live this down and how many have done same thing without world knowing. it is painfull for him and his wife why not let them deal with it privately no one is perfect and no one knows what hes gone through nor how hard it is to be on road and women chasing you.give him a break forgive!we have all made mistakes

This is what happens when the media goes overboard…they don’t seem to think about who they are going to hurt by running these episodes over and over again. Yes, children are involved, wife and relatives and now someone else is hurt by this…now what? The media is showing concern? What a bunch of back-stabbing hypocrites…leave this couple alone, give them breathing room to try and work out this situation…stay or go. It’s their business, I would like to see what’s hidden behind your closets. As for all the bimbos involved, there are more words I can come up with but I’m sure would not be printed…so hang in there Elin..everything in life happens for a reason and this is one that will make you a stronger person….peace and love to you and your family. To define media: non-empathetic…we saw it recently in the Michael Jackson destruction…stab you in the back and then when they destroy every bit of you they are knocking at your front door acting like an empathetic friend to your family….How great would this world be if “EVERYONE JUST MINDED THEIR OWN BUSINESS”…hang in there!

My father was just like Tiger Woods. He had one affair after another the whole time he was married to my mom. He died at 46 years old. These kind of men should never get married. It doesn’t matter if they have a beautiful wife that is a 10, they will still cheat on her. They are on a ego trip and need constant affirmation of their manhood. Tiger’s wife needs to get out, take the money and run. She will be much happier.

What does his faithfulness to his wife have to do with cars, sportswear, amex, etc.? I don’t see why he should lose endorcements. He has not been proven to have committed a crime.

Those that mention what Elin should do ,it is HER decision whether she forgives her husband, not us who know NOTHING about their personal lives.

These celebs are approached by the sponsers for their participation in promoting their products. They do not ask to be your children role models. He chose to be the best golfer in the world.

This is what happens when SIN destroys people’s LIVES!! There is SO MUCH to learn from this NIGHTMARE SITUATION that they are experiencing right now as the ENTIRE WORLD WATCHES!!!. How Elin can overlook ten woman that Tiger had a relationship with I don’t know. It is just too over the top. She needs to hold her head up and leave him. She is the mother of his two kids and deserves better treatment from Tiger that what she has gotten. With the details coming out, he really is a total sleeze. The last girl friend is said to be a porn star. Did he ever worry that he might bring home a disease and give it to Elin? Take him for whatever you can and we women will give you a thumbs up. Tiger is a sham and the private guy is obviously really different from the fake Tiger the public sees. I will not buy from any of his sponsors ever again. Why support sleeze?

We as a society should stop looking to celebs and sport figures as role models. They are human just as we are they make mistakes too. The problems with Tiger Wood and his family is just that, their problems. We should be focus on other things in this world, other than someone being unfaithful.

So everyone wants their 15 minutes. The media has become a discusting creature when it comes to these stories. They know no boundaries and do so much more harm than good, and always the bottom line is greed. I mean do we REALLY need to know every possible scenario to the Woods situation. I’ve quit buying magazines altogether, even those that I thought at one time were reputable. By the way, there were two minor accidents in my neighborhood last month and not even the neighbors gave a hoot.

I feel so bad for his wife, he is such a sleeze.. fooling around on his wife like this.. I use to think highly of him..I wouldnt doubt that he looses all his endorsements. He’s not exactly the role model we want for children to aspire to anymore. Not even a good example to his child. I would call him a dog but dogs are terrific. He is lower .. much lower- more like pond scum or the algea that eats pond scum.I think of Tiger woods and I think how disgusting! Just like pond scum.!!

It’s so sad what has happened to Tiger Woods. Did he go down hill after his father died? He has destroyed his marriage and family. One affair with a bimbo was bad enough but ten is outrageous. They all have the same look. I feel sorry for Elin and now her mother. What a mess he has made.
