Alexa Ray Joel Thanks Fans for 'Love and Support'

Alexa Ray Joel is on the mend after her weekend suicide attempt.

"She is feeling much better," her rep says in a statement. "She is with her family and looking forward to getting back on track."

Joel, who is recuperating at her father Billy Joel's Long Island, New York home after being released from the hospital Sunday, added, "I want to thank everyone for their outpouring of love and support."

On Saturday, Alexa called 911 to announced she "want[ed] to die" after downing eight herbal anti-inflammatory pills.

The New York Daily News reported the aspiring singer-songwriter canceled a performance at Thursday's NYSE tree-lighting ceremony.

She's still set to perform Thursday at J&R Music World, a store staffer told "Extra."

I think it isn’t anyones business about Tiger. And I wish extra and the rest of the media will stop. If there was any chance that Tiger and his wife could patch things up, its gone because of all the media attention. All of you are ruining his life. STOP STOP STOP

What i dont understand is who the hell cares who tiger woods sleeps with other then his wife.Why do people care who other people sleep with as long as its not with my partner i could care less. Everyone has the right to live the way they want CARMA always gets you tell people to worry about themselves.Sport stars and celebs have a right to live as they see fit all we will all be judged in time.
