Paula Abdul: I'd Be a 'Really Good' Talk Show Host

Oprah Winfrey is saying goodbye to her talk show. Could Paula Abdul replace her?
"I have really great ideas," Abdul told "Extra" Monday from her cousin's new store, This opens new window:
Tweak 99. Abdul, 47, said she hopes to do a talk show in the next two to three years.

"It would be fun and quirky and it would be insightful," she said. "It would be fun to jam with the band and have amazing guests and introduce amazing different formats on the show."
The Grammy winner is confident in the potential project.
"I feel I would be really good at it. I have the ability to connect with people on a level," Abdul explained. "I've proven to pierce the heartstrings, but also to be celebratory and bring out the best in people."
Abdul respects Winfrey and calls her a "phenomenon" who "broke barriers and let the path for other women to be empowered."
She added, "Like 'American Idol,' there's a place and time that makes history. That's Oprah."


























Aaaa I can’t decide about her because i keep readin all these peoples posts. now i jusr read Barsinger and i think they are right I WANT PAULA TO GO TO AMERICAN IDOL AND BE A JUDGE AGAIN. but i don’t know if she’ll do it because they were really mean to her and that’s why she left in the first place cuz they always wanna treat girls worse than guys. i really miss her judging on Idol and i never liked it when they added Kara. it’s too much. i don’t understand Ellen on the show. I understand Ellen on her funny talk show and she dances and it’s fun but I don’t understand her on Idol. sorry guys.
