'Laverne and Shirley's' Penny Marshall: 'I'm Fine'
"Laverne & Shirley" star Penny Marshall opens up to "Extra" for the first time about reports that she's suffering from brain cancer and liver tumors.
"I'm fine," she told "Extra" at the 7th Annual Joe Torre Safe at Home Foundation gala in NYC Friday night.
When asked about the National Enquirer's report that she had brain surgery late last month and was "battling for her life," she replied, "I know... there's all that sh*t. I'm walking and talking and I'm fine."
Marshall, 67, who also produced "A League of Their Own," went on, "Thank you for your concern, but I'm fine. They get it a little cockeyed sometimes."
