Osmond 'Running on Adrenaline' After 'DWTS' Win

Donny Osmond is exhausted after winning "Dancing With the Stars" in Los Angeles -- and then hopping on a plane to tape "Good Morning America" in New York.

"We're running on adrenaline," Osmond, who traveled east with finalists Mya and Kelly Osbourne, said on "GMA" Wednesday.

"We were competitors but we're best friends," continued Osmond, 51.

So what's Osmond most excited about?

"I beat Marie!" Osmond enthused, referring to his sister, who competed in 2007. "I am really proud of this; I am the oldest recipient of the Mirror Ball Trophy."

He plans to put the trophy "at the top of my house with a spotlight on it."

Mya, 30, said the group is "tired but wired."

And even though she came in second place, "I could do it all over again ten times," she added.

Osbourne, 25, admitted "it was a shock to me to be even in the final. To be in that final was just incredible. It was one of the best nights of my life."

"I am not the same person that walked in that door 15 weeks ago," Osbourne continued. "Everything in my life has changed for the better. I never thought it would happen through dancing."

I watch dwts every season, I am so disappointed with the show that I can’t find the words for what is going on. But one thing I would like to see happen is for the show to lose their viewers. So come on everyone join me, and let’s not watch next season. Also, I would like for them to show how the votes come in. I have had enough.

WHATEVER People! You are all entitled to your opinion, just as the voting audience of DWTS. Everyone sees beauty in a different way and I guess the audience found Donny’s performances more entertaining and enjoyable! If this was truly based entirely on technique, it would be judge solely by experts in that profession.

The same holds true for rest of the seasons that you write about. The audience has spoken. And for someone who didn’t watch the show, you certainly didn’t give Donny a fair shake!

In other words, take football for example. Two teams head to the Super Bowl. Team 1, performed flawlessly for the entire season and in your eyes, and those of the odd makers, should win the game handily. Wrong! If Team 2 performs beyond expectations during the Super Bowl and Team 1, sucked….well, Team 2 wins! Do you claim fowl in that case? Think not. Team 2 deserved and worked hard for that win.

DWTS, like AI, enjoy them for what they really are…ENTERTAINMENT!

Congratulations Donny and Kym! Congratulations also to Kelly and Louis and Mya and Dmitry! You’re all winners!

Oh my God i sooooooooooooooo agree with Robbi you are sooooooooo right. I only caught the semi final and i know Donny was go win base of the judges and fan base, they need to let the judges decide who win, thank God i didnt waste my time on the whole season, after Mel B lost and i said i’ll keep watching then Gilles lost, i was done. But you are absolutely abt time they give Edyta someone worthy.

MYA WAS ROBBED DONNY HAD LOW SCORES MOST
OF THE SEASON. HE HAS MANY FANS AND THAT

PLANED THIS

I think Kelly should of won she was really good and worked so hard and really improved the most. Donny was good, but I think Kelly was better. As for MYA I didnt think she was as good as Kelly. Her Freestyle messed her up.

Mya and Dimitri should have won this year just like Gilles Marini and Cheryl Burke should have won last year. Gilles and Mya were by far the better dancers over Shawn Johnson and Donny Osmond. If anyone remembers season 1, there was an upset when Kelly Monaco won over John O’Hurley. It caused a ‘dance off’. I think there should be a “dance off” between Gilles & Cheryl vs Shawn & Mark and Mya & Dimitri vs Donny & Kim. The judges should call it on danceability ALONE. If you compare the amount of 10’s that Mya and Dimitri were getting over Donny, he didn’t come close.
I’m am in agreement with everyone else… this is no longer a dance contest it is now a personality contest.
Two side notes. Mario Lopez is a great dancer as Karina Smirnoff is good but I have always watched Karina’s face, she in my opinion is a sore loser which ruins her dancing for me. Also just once I wish that Edyta would get someone worth dancing with, I want her to win so bad. She’s the best dancer on that show.

I was SO happy Donny won. I’m pretty disappointed how much they have changed the whole purpose of what the show started out to be. Stars that have NO experience in dancing and seeing how they progress throughout the week. If they were still following that, then Kelly Osbourne should have really been the winner. Just like Kelly from GH won on the 1st season. Mya is a dancer and a choreographer and should never have been on the show to begin with.

Also, I cannot understand why people keep saying they want to see Paula Abdul as a contestant on DWTS!!?? WHAT!! She IS a dancer and a choreographer and should NEVER be on the show as a contestant. If anything, she should be one of the pros or a judge, but definitely NOT as a contestant.

Mya & Demetri were totally robbed! They were heads and shoulders above everyone else - and sorry, but, Kelly absolutely did NOT belong in the finals. So much for a “Dance” competition. Donny did really well, particularly being he is twice the age of his competitors, but he just was not the dancer that Mya was! I will give one concession in that I was really disappointed in Mya’s freestyle - she was right and Demetri was wrong - that was not the time to play it safe! And her dress didn’t help!!!!

I love Donny, but the trophy definately belong to Mya. She was outstanding in all her dances. She should have won.

I had predicted the top five celebs since week one. Congrats to Donny and Kym. You both deserve it so much.
Who says that someone who has been a performer for 46(?) years could not dance the way that he did week after week. He is, by far, a entertainer, a performer and now above all, a winner.
I’m very happy for Donny and Kym.

Mya clearly is the winner. She proved weeks upon weeks that she was the best dancer that could deliver and Len put her down time and time again yet she prevails. Hats off to Bruno for seeing the true dancer she was. It is clearly that the judges wanted Donnie to win from the start. Donnie and Marie and their big mouths, cocky, show off and arrogant selves took it, he should be ashamed because he knew that the judges gave him the win!!!!Shame on you all……..

I really think Joanna & Derick were the best because of the little dancing experience that she had. I thought it was suppose to be a show about the most improved or whatever or Kelly because we saw a definite improvement. Mya was great but a performer and Donny cheated. I don’t think people with all this experience should get to do this show. Mario never was a real dancer only break dancing when he was young he definitly should have also won.

Yeah, its more of a popularity contest, Mya was clearly the better dancer, Donny has a lovable pesonaliy, how can you not want him to win? It was done all in fun, looks like they all had a good time, and entertained us at the same time.

Mya WAS ROBBED in my opinion, however dwts is 50% popularity and 50% judge perception she lost in both categories. Naysayers should vote, not complain!

Think about this, this man has a show he works at 5 days a week that is very phisical I saw it… in vegas. He has a family a family in Utah, (whom he adores) and constant the “Dancing” rehersals to do for the show in LA (for 3 months)… He juggled it all at 51, even with the flu, and still he WINS ! The 1st thing he does after he wins is go to his Wife & sister,… family from audience to share this with him! He is a WINNER in every sense of the word. He is also twice the age of the others were mostly just doing the show & not much else. Come on people give hime some credit. GO Donny!

Marie has the same last name so why didn’t she win? Mya was too cocky. Weeks ago she decided that she was going to be the winner. Donny took all the criticism and used it. His free style was amazing. Mya just jumped around as if she was dancing in a club.
