Vote! Is Phillips' Problem an Addiction?

1027-steve-phillips.jpg

Former ESPN analyst Steve Phillips' agent is saying that his client has an addiction and simply fell off the wagon. Phillips was sued in 1998 for sexual harassment while working for the New York Mets.

What do you think? Is this just an excuse for Phillips' behavior, or does he really have an addiction?

Certainly I am able to understand how powerful people are “lured” to this type of action. But sexual addiction is not limited to the famous! I have the same problem and I am not famous. This is a shameful addiction and I am going to a therapist. Although a lot of people are able to go to rehab for the disease; I can go to rehab only for attempted suicide, in which I have been admitted several times. Sexual addiction can also lead to a lot of other very serious consequences. Drugs, alcohol, STD’s and divorce. With the fact of my age, children and grand children this has been a secret part of my life for decades. sincerely..jB

I wonder how many people believe it’s an excuse believe so merely because they cannot relate. The other side of this coin is every bit just as destructive to lives/marriages.
