Kate Gosselin: I'm an 'Easy Target'

Kate Gosselin says she's easy to pick on.

"Certain events take place that make us sitting ducks," the reality mom, 34, says in an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to air Wednesday. "It makes us easy targets.

"I just know that on TV or off TV, I've been very much targeted and torn apart," Kate adds.

She takes a dig at estranged husband Jon, 32.

"Certain ones of us speak a lot; others of us prefer to keep our mouths shut," says Kate, who has also discussed their relationship on her TLC reality show, "The View" and the "Today" show.

Kate says her first priority is mothering her eight children.

"I am a mother first. I will always be a mother, and I would die for my kids if need be. I would never put them in a situation that was dangerous or unsafe for them and like any mother ... there is nothing I would do to put them in danger."

She goes on, "My focus is not what trip I can go on, or what shows I can do as a result of this thing. This is my job. This is my paycheck, and so this is what I do."

Kate -- who announced at the California Women's Conference Tuesday she would never wed again -- also told DeGeneres she's not ready to date because her relationships would "be scrutinized."

Still, finding a new man, "has crossed my mind at some point," she admits. (Jon has been romancing Hailey Glassman, 22.)

Kate also touches on her infamous hairdo after hearing a Halloween wig has been a top-seller.

"Somebody emailed that to me a bit ago saying there was going to be a Kate Gosselin wig," Kate jokes. "I thought, 'Wow, is that really what my hair looks like?'"

Ok Kate!You wanted this whole ungodly family,that YOU created!You did this ok stop blaming the world for you bullcrap!Jon is just as much an idoit as you are!Any mother that would go on national TV and say the things about her Hubby the way you did should be smacked,you were mean and mean as a snake in the grass,untrustworthy human,bad human.Bad wife!You did nothing but make yourself look bad on national tv,I feel sorry for Jon but the kids are where the pain is you dumbie!Plain and simple you wanted this you got it!As far as you being an easy target,again you did it!As far as being easy not so much but being stupid you got that one down.You both really need to understand that God did NOT want this or would ever think having that many kids when YOU cannot afford it is the stupiest thing ever!You used your hubby first,then you used your kids second then you used your fame!You are the saddest case of motherhood I have never seen.You both should have everything the TAX PAYERS paid for taken from you,you are both ungreatful and did this for the money!BAD MOM!!Who paid for you to get knocked up that many times,not needed BAD DOCTOR!

It sounds like the famous GWOPS are hitting the comment boards and blogs again. The fact is that Kate Gosselin has been very classy in her handling of this situation. It’s obvious that she is the only parent that loves those kids. She has not one single time called Jon names and not verbally attacked him while Jon has been the one abusive and foul. That old excse that Kate picked on Jon is absolutely insance. Apparently none of these people criticizing Kate never watched the show because Jon said some pretty nasty things about Kate on the show and constant dirty looks at her. My heaven’s after seeing how Jon has acted for months now and the scum he is hanging around with you are STILL sticking up for that loser Jon? All of you criticizing Kate would have been a whole lot worse to Jon since it’s obvious he is a total idiot.

GO AWAY ALREADY!

Anyone who has ever watched their show from the start, knows exactly what kind of person she is … NASTY & ABUSIVE! She deserves absolutely nothing, especially any attention from the public or media.

I have never seen a person so mentally and verbally BATTERED as poor Jon, after she got through with him. If she was a man & Jon was the woman, everyone would be crying for him to get as far away from Kate as possible. Yet for some reason, they keep giving her attention and building her up to be some kind of super mom - while they just continue to beat up the real victim in all of this - Jon. I feel so awful for the poor guy.

Kate is absolutely sickening & deserves CRAP, as far as I’m concerned. All those people who think she’s great don’t know what they’re talking about … think they all jumped on the bandwagon after the fact. Let them see the horrible things she’s said & done to Jon - then they’ll be singing a different tune.

This woman is SELFISH, SELFISH, SELFISH & truly doesn’t give one crap about her kids like she says. Who’s sitting them with now? JON is.

KATE, this is NOT YOUR JOB. As I recall, your job is as a nurse (God help your patients), back home where you can go home to your kids and see them/ take care of them every day. NO ONE wants to see you in any movies & no on certainly wants to see you whining like a big baby on all the talk shows you think you’ve earned a right to be on. They must be just filling up time when the real guest cancelled, but need to do us a favor & find someone else.

Exploit your kids a little more Kate - maybe when they’re grown, they’ll see exactly who’s fault it is that they no longer have parents that are still married & live together. Kate is the one who beat the hell out of Jon, while he sat there and took every bit of it w/out reacting - for the sake of his kids. Anyone else in their right mind would have been the ones to leave YOU a long time ago.

What a good mother she is? Come on, her kids have learned well from her, as the oldest ones talk to their father like he’s lower than a dog … just like mom. What a great role model to aspire .… you people who think she’s great better look a little deeper.

Maria Shriver needs a wake up call too … what the hell was she thinking? Kate makes me sick - especially while she cries victim. You’re a rotten rotten person, that you forget many of us have seen. Those reality cameras didn’t hide much, when you say nobody really knows you … we’ve seen you in action sweetheart & what we’ve seen isn’t pretty - even before you got that ridiculous haircut!

I totally agree she is so self-centered & its all ME,ME,ME. She gets me how she decided this is her job WHAT JOB!!Her family was picked to be on a reality show that doesn’t mean it is her JOB! She’s a major joke to the world. That is all an act “it’s all for my kids & I would die for my kid’s” She doesn’t give a damn about their welfare. Even her sister-in-law said that when the camera’s would turn off those kids got on her nerves & the touching their heads and stroking their hair was ALL for the camera’s. Those kids are nothing BUT “Cash Cow’s” for her, they are her paycheck. I LOL for so long when I heard she now wants to be a movie star. Does she think that reality show was an acting job?? Why do the Roloff’s & the Little people all act normal & have not taken things to great lengths thinking they are celebrities they still lead NORMAL lives. Kate lives in an imaginary world all her own. Get the needed help Kate fast!! & quit appearing on every damn show you could find to cry the blue’s you are a disgrace.

This is what kills me about this broad. She said that she and her family cant be like a normal family cuz there are too many of them. Hey Kate news flash. YOUR NOT THE ONLY FAMILY IN AMERICA to have 8 kids. Thats not even a LOT of kids. There are a lot of parents out there who have a LOT more. She is so freakin selfish and self centered she makes me sick. Now she wants to be a movie star. GO FIGURE!!!
