Jon Gosselin has split from Hailey Glassman

Jon Gosselin has split from Hailey Glassman, "Extra" has exclusively learned.

"They're taking a break," an insider told "Extra," adding that it may not be permanent.

After meeting with famed Rabbi Shmuley Boteach (who also advised Michael Jackson) for regular study sessions and counseling, Gosselin "apparently decided he needed to spend some time on his own," the source says.

Gosselin, 32, and Glassman, 22, first got close in May when Jon stayed with her father, plastic surgeon Lawrence Glassman (who once performed a free tummy tuck for Jon's estranged wife, Kate), in New York. The two claim they didn't become romantically involved until the Gosselins filed for divorce in June.

I wonder when she (girlfriend) went on national tv about Jon being abusive did she have an onion hidden in her tissue ? I believe Jon is a decent young man perhaps married too young, maybe not perfect, but who is ? I wanted to believe that J & K would be a team but it takes 2. MMC… I agree with you 100 %

Hailey Glassman is a chld herself. She needs to grow up. But then again, Jon also needs to grow up. Yeah, Jon needs to reflect his time by getting a real job.

Who does he think he is fooling???? Is this another ploy to make us like him, or just another one of his personalities speaking. Both he and Hailley deserve each other. When he finally grows up, we will stop seeing his nonsense splattered all over the news.

I hope it’s true that Jon left Hailey glassman…she love dthe material things she got from him and when the stresses of his life stared entering their relationship she started bad mouthing him on t.v. I hope he stays away from this nasty opportunist. I’m so happy that the kids never met her. I don’t say that Jon and Kate will ever get together, Kate needs to stop with it’s her way or no way and Jon has to step back and love his kids and they have to find a way to be respectful to each other.In time Jon you will find someone who appreciates you.And that’s not party girl and immature,selfish, Hailey Glassman.

Jon & Hailey are just lining up their legal defenses… They may have to account for their actions in a court of law… stealing from the arbitrator controlled account and computer hacking are serious offenses. They are both going down…Jon will loose everything.
Too little too late.
