This was one of the most honest, inspiring segments I’ve seen in a long time. With so many friends that have battled this disease, it was an eye opening, true dipiction on the struggle they have been so brave to endure. Thank you Pat for letting us in to your life and sharing this difficult journey you have had to travel. You truly are a survivor and an inspiration!

Your journey has given me hope and faith that no matter what adversities lie ahead, they can be overcome. You show how strong the human spirit really is and when you make it to the top of the mountain, you can begin to enjoy life’s magnificant view. You’re awesome.

Im gabrielle my mom showed me this video you have never met me nor have i ever met you ..but i hope one day i will .being fifteen i cannot say i know what it must be like to live through such a pinacle of struggle but your courage enlightening demure and presence through what others may see as the end of time has shown me and taught me that we do not always get handed the best cards in the game of life but the most we can do is smile and play the hand best as possible until the universe shuffles and deals again. I hope one day if i am ever faced with a situation i fear i cannot handle i can find the courage and bravery in my heart to laugh smile and stand strong as you have. thank you for being such an inspiration and such a truely beautiful soul.

Pat, Thank you for sharing your story, you are a brave woman, your story touched me deeply, my mother had breast cancer twice, she is a survivor , I never heard her complaint, at 46 her breast were mutilated , she didn’t have reconstructon surgery because her chances of survival were minimal, 3 years before she lost her husband (my dad) of lung cancer…now she is 65 , and she is my inspiration , as you also are. thank you ! God bless you

I laughed and cried throughout this segment. This amazing and courageous woman touched me deeply. This is truly a gift she has given to so many of us who have taken even one day of our lives for granted. Thank you for airing this heartwarming story. It has changed my life.
