Avril Lavigne Splits, No Spousal Support Needed
One month after Avril Lavigne announced her separation from Deryck Whibley, the singer has filed for divorce -- and is requesting that no spousal support be granted.
According to TMZ, The 24-year-old punk rocker cites "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split, and states their official separation date as September 4.
Lavigne hasn't requested any money from Whibley, and has asked the court to deny spousal support to the Sum 41 musician.
