Chocolate Lab is a Mans dog. Don’t get one of those lil yappy girls dogs please. It seems all of the recommendations do not fit you in my opinion. But I don’t know you either. Bosco, my Choco Lab is great, but really too much for me to handle. He really needs a man to make him stay with the program.

It doesn’t matter which breed you choose, as long as it is a rescue and not from a breeder. Spend time with the animal first because they all have different personalities. You may want and active dog or you may want more of a lap dog. I do hope that whatever you choose to get that you choose to adopt not shop!

As long as you adopt and save a dog from an animal shelter or rescue center (you do have your public image to up-hold) Ask people what they think about Obama’s choice to buy a pure-breed dog instead of rescuing one, he may lose a few votes due to his decision. I’m sure you’ll make the right choice and you do have many choices if you do decide to adopt.

OMG, just adopt any dog you fall in love with! 8-10 MILLION healthy, adoptable cats and dogs are killed annually in shelters across this country simply because there are not enough homes for them. ADOPT A PET, A FRIEND FOR LIFE! p.s. It doesn’t have to match your furniture!

You should not be adopting a puppy. Most dogs get turned into the shelter when they are about 3 years old. You should adopt a dog who is older, everyone wants puppies.

Looks like you are looking for a smaller dog. Beagles are great they are even tempered and have a gentle disposition. It all depends on how much time you have to spend with the dog. If you will be extremely busy, don’t get an active dog, they need the activity to get all their energy out. If you do look into big dogs, I agree with others lab or german shepherd, or husky are beautiful dogs. If you like water sports a lab is best for you.

Please get a shelter dog or rescue dog. They have great personalities and less health problems.

You should get a Bernese Mountain Dog. there the most beautiful dogs ever. They have great color. They are big but calm they play for an hour and sleep for four. They have brought my life joy and hopefully they can do the same to yours!!!

Most definitely a CHOCOLATE LAB! They are very loving, loyal, very easily trained, smart and good with children. My brother has one so well trained she will sit at her food dish, wait to eat until given the command to eat.

you should get a lab they are extremly active thats y u should get a lab puppy because i have one and they are pretty cool to me

in pinellas fl, we have a group called certifiedpreowneddogs.com that adopts out small breed dogs they are dogs that have been given up or have been in a high kill shelter. they are a non for profit organization that you can pick your breed. I would pick a BUG, a boston terrier/pug mix the all time perfect dog!

Since Mario is an extremely ACTIVE person, an italian greyhound would be my choice. wonderful disposition and energetic with a contagious personality. definitely a CHICK MAGNET!!!
