Dresses and Heels for Girlie Suri Cruise

Suri Cruise, 3, is walking a mile in her famous mom's footsteps -- the tot and Katie Holmes went shopping in Boston yesterday, with Suri decked-out in a dress and heels -- which she later gave up for more sensible flats!

According to dad Tom Cruise, Suri refuses to wear anything that isn't girlie and fashionable. "Suri's very much like her mother," Cruise told Hello! magazine in 2008. "She will not wear trousers, only dresses. I put a pair of trousers on her and turn and leave the room and straight away the trousers are off and a dress is on instead!"

Tom, Katie and Suri are currently in Beantown while Cruise films his new comedy, "Wichita."

i dont see “lipstick” on suri; but i agree somewhat with shannons comment; once in a while i could see maybe the heels; but good shoes are important for as their growing; my girls 6 & i was able to dress her in what “i” liked til she was about 41/2; then she got a mind of her own & didnt always pick out things i liked; although suri is a total little doll; she should be wearing play clothes more often. im suprised i dont see earings yet. maybe tom wouldnt allow it.

Does anyone else find a 3 year old girl wearing heels to walk the city streets a little inappropriate? I do! I could understand allowing Suri to wear them at home playing dress up, but on the street! I think not. It’s unsafe. It looks to me that Suri, with her high heels and lipstick is being overly sexualized at a very young age. She should be in play clothes and sneakers which are healthier for her growing muscles and bones. These celebrity parents are completely clueless.
