A bevy of singing beauties earned the title of "VH1 Divas" last night -- and "Ellen DeGeneres" was there to help the divas rock the stage!

Hostess Paula Abdul poked fun at her "American Idol" replacement Ellen by sporting a blonde wig, signature suit and tennis shoes to boogie down in -- mimicking Ellen's signature dance moves which always open "The Ellen Show."

Jennifer Hudson, Miley Cyrus, Kelly Clarkson, Leona Lewis, Adele, and Jordin Sparks were among the singers catapulted to "diva" status during the show. Cyndi Lauper, Liza Minnelli, Sheryl Crow and India.Arie also appeared at the show.
