In an interview with Ann Curry on the "Today Show," a bearded Brad Pitt revealed it's not likely he would run for mayor of New Orleans, despite several citizens campaigning for the actor to throw his hat in the ring.

He joked, "I'm running on the gay marriage, no religion, legalization and taxation of marijuana platform." He added, "I don't have a chance." When Curry pressed for a more serious answer, Pitt replied, "I don't have a chance. It's not what I do best."

On Wednesday, Pitt hit up the premiere of "The Time Traveler's Wife" in NYC, wearing a casual off-white suit. Pitt is the executive producer of the romantic flick.

The father of 6 was solo for the premiere, and told Usmagazine.com his children are "great!"
