Paula Abdul wanted more money to be on 'American Idol'

People magazine's Anne Marie Cruz tells "Extra" Paula Abdul might be understandably jealous of Ryan Seacrest's raise of $15 million a year.

Meanwhile, Kathy Griffin thinks she has a solution for "Idol." At the TCA Press tour on Wednesday, she told us, "I think Ryan should give a portion of his salary to Paula."

On Wednesday, Abdul was spotted at JFK airport on her way to Atlanta to film more episodes of the new Lifetime series "Drop Dead Diva."

although it’s sad that she is leaving it’s even sadder that these people get paid so much for what? something is wrong when some one gives up 5mill I will judge for that! I can wear gaudy jewelery and say sweet things with 5 mill I could feed my family Forever! sad sad sad .

Paula is just a important as Simon. Next in line is Ryan, Paula deserves more money than Ryan. Kara and Randy are replacable.

bring her back to idol !!
without her i will never watch idol again !!
can you believe this ?? she is one of the origianl judge … get ride of kara BORING dioguardi !!
idol will never be the same without her , and not in a good way
sure it will survave with out her … but not for so long !!!
this is sad , bring back our loopy judge paula , we want her there !!
i think this is a huge mistake from fox , huge !!

Idol is not idol without Paula…Who”s Simon gonna mess with now? Their chemistry together made the show more exciting. I dont know anyone who watches the show to see what Ryan seacrest has to say.
